The sun was beginning to set as Billy drove them to the next stop of their getaway—a surprise he had planned for Babe. Babe, still feeling relaxed from their day at the beach, shot Billy a curious look as they pulled off the coastal highway and onto a smaller, private road.

"Where are we going?" Babe asked, a playful suspicion in his voice. He loved surprises, but he also liked knowing what was coming.

Billy smirked, keeping his eyes on the road. "You'll see soon enough."

Babe raised an eyebrow, glancing out the window as the surroundings changed from the wide expanse of the coast to a more lush, green landscape. After a few more minutes, they pulled up to a pristine golf resort, the kind that exuded both luxury and tranquility. A long, green fairway stretched out before them, dotted with golfers moving at a leisurely pace under the golden sky.

"Wait a second..." Babe blinked, taking in the scenery. "Is this...?"

Billy chuckled, turning off the car and stepping out. "Surprise! We're at a golf resort."

Babe got out of the car, shaking his head in amused disbelief. "You're bringing me to a golf resort?"

"You brought me to the beach, so I thought it was only fair to bring you somewhere I love," Billy said with a grin, walking over to stand beside him. "Plus, I figured I could show you how fun golf can be."

Babe rolled his eyes playfully. "You know I used to play golf as a kid, right? I'm no beginner."

Billy raised an eyebrow, clearly intrigued. "Oh really? Then I suppose I have a challenge on my hands."

Babe gave him a teasing smile. "I'm a little rusty, but don't be too cocky, Mumu."

Despite his words, Babe found himself smiling at Billy's excitement. They checked into the resort, the staff welcoming them with the kind of quiet luxury that only the finest resorts could offer. Their suite overlooked the sprawling golf course, its terrace offering a view of the manicured greens stretching out under the fading sunlight.

Later that evening, after they had settled in, Billy led Babe to the golf course for a fun match. Babe, though admittedly rusty from his childhood days, quickly picked up where he left off. It wasn't long before they were on the green, with Babe lining up his shot.

"Okay, show me what you've got," Billy said, standing back with an amused smirk.

Babe adjusted his grip on the club, squinting at the ball before taking a smooth, confident swing. The ball sailed perfectly across the green, rolling toward the hole with a satisfying precision that made Billy raise his eyebrows in surprise.

"Not bad," Billy admitted, a smile tugging at his lips. "But let's see if you can keep that up."

They spent the next hour laughing, teasing, and competing. Billy, of course, couldn't resist giving Babe pointers and making playful comments, but Babe held his own. Every now and then, Babe would hit an impressive shot, and Billy would respond with a chuckle and a kiss.

At one point, Babe challenged Billy to a match on the course's most difficult hole, and to his surprise, Billy accepted with enthusiasm. As they walked the course, their conversation shifted from lighthearted teasing to more meaningful topics—about their future, their dreams, and the life they were building together.

As the evening wore on, they returned to their suite, a sense of peace and happiness settling over them. They dined on the terrace, enjoying the view of the twinkling lights of the resort and the quiet ambiance that came with the night.

After dinner, they sat together on the terrace, a warm breeze blowing gently around them. Babe leaned into Billy, his head resting on his shoulder as they gazed out at the peaceful surroundings.

"I have to admit," Babe said softly, "golf isn't as boring as I thought it would be."

Billy chuckled, his arm around Babe, holding him close. "It's all about the company."

Babe smiled, his eyes fluttering closed as he soaked in the quiet moment. "I can't believe we're here. After everything... it feels almost unreal."

Billy pressed a kiss to Babe's hair. "We've earned this. We deserve it."

Babe sighed contentedly, his hand finding Billy's, their fingers intertwining. "I guess you're right."

For a while, they sat in comfortable silence, watching the stars begin to appear in the sky. The peacefulness of the moment was a reminder of how far they'd come—how much they'd grown, healed, and built together. It wasn't just about the past anymore. It was about the life they were creating, one filled with love, understanding, and a deep connection that couldn't be broken.

"I love you, Mumu," Babe whispered, his voice soft but full of emotion.

Billy turned, kissing Babe's forehead tenderly. "I love you too, Tofu. Always."

The night stretched on, the air filled with nothing but the quiet sound of their breaths and the peaceful rustle of the trees. It was their moment, their perfect evening, and for once, the world felt like it was exactly as it should be.
