Chapter 2 Darkness

Third person pov.

This night seems to be a normal night, with its beautiful moon shining down on its earth. The wind holds its crispy but very nice october air; the earth is lively with its pest rooming around doing their own things.

Everything is looking great.

But again, it SEEMS like a normal GREAT night, but it's not. Well, for the most part, it's not a normal and great night here, luckily there's some spots in this town that have some safe haven happening.

This spot has no owls cooing; no bugs were making their either annoying or calming noises; no sound of walking animals or humans around; the crisp air is an icy cold one, something that's not a nice feeling to be caught in.

Especially to be waking up face first on the ground, alone and confused.

Agony was what was going through Sky's body as she laid face down onto the dirt ground.

She was awake now, but she could hardly focus or think of anything at this moment. She couldn't remember what was happening. She didn't understand why she was on the ground waking up in so much pain.

Her mouth was becoming dry, mostly because of how long she's been laying on the ground with her mouth being slightly agape when out cold. The gross pointy feeling anyone gets when their mouth and throat is becoming fully dry was becoming worse to the point she was getting to the stage of gagging.

However, that's not the reason why she got up so fast. The instant thoughts that bugs and spiders were or are crawling all over her had her painfully getting up fast.

Sky was ripping off her jacket and throwing it to the ground. She's ignoring the pain that she's enduring as she starts wiping and patting her whole body off like she had ants crawling all over her. She had nothing on her, but not knowing this, she made sure to give extra treatment to her hair to make sure nothing was in or on her.

Then Sky froze in her spot, stopping everything she was doing.

She just clued in on the fact that the only noises she's hearing are by the noises she's making herself; everything else around her is quiet. Too quiet for her liking.

Dropping her arms down, she scans her surroundings, making notes of everything she saw, heard or, thought of.

She was confused, and overwhelmed and she would be lying if she said she wasn't scared. How could she not? She just woke up in the middle of the forest, alone and not knowing why she was there in the first place.

However, she did her best to keep herself calm and think things through, then rushing through and rashly thinking things and instantly following suit to them, then actually thinking things over.

She used what she has learned so far by just looking around her surroundings.

One main thing she learned was that everything that the light of the moon didn't touch was of course pitch black and fucking more eerie then ever for her.

This pitch black was something different this time for her. She's been alone in dark creepy forests or basements or hotels and more before, however, this, this is new.

So Sky's making sure to keep on going forward, but to make sure to stay in the light of the moon as she walks deeper into the forest, scared shitless.

Sky walked in the forest for a while until she finally started hearing something.

Instantly, when the noise hit her ears, her heart stopped in her chest, her feet stopped working, and everything was sent to look to where she thought she heard it coming from.
