For the next two weeks, both women poured their hearts and souls into filming. Every day from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., sometimes even longer, they were on set filming. Despite the long hours and tiring days, Ling and Orm always felt comfort knowing they had each other on set.

It was truly an incredible feeling for Ling. Like Orm, she had already filmed multiple TV series but had never quite felt the same excitement to jump right back into work each day compared to her previous works. Admittedly, filming in the past had been incredibly difficult for her, and she often wanted to give up because she struggled with the script, language barriers and so on. There was one point in her life when she almost gave up being an actress altogether, but thankfully, her seniors provided her with eye-opening encouragement and support. If anything, she was so grateful that she decided to continue because if she had not, she would never have had this chance to play alongside Orm. I mean, yes, she was already in love with Orm before filming had officially commenced, but each day, she seemed to fall harder for the doe-eyed, milky-skinned woman who was always by her side, supporting her.

Orm's infectious laughter, smile, and overall attitude on set were inspiring. The highlight of her day was going to work to see her hyper bundle of joy. What was even weirder was that they never had any disagreements about anything. How was a relationship like this? It was like some kind of dream come true, she felt like. Spending all day and basically every day with Orm felt like such a blessing, and she was grateful for every single second of it.

In two weeks, they managed to film episodes 1-3; by far, the most difficult scene was the breakup scene in episode 1. The girls spent hours crying and embracing each other to keep the mood ongoing. These kinds of scenes were always challenging for Ling because she did not often experience these kinds of high states of emotion in her everyday life. It awed her how talented Orm was when the waterworks needed to start, and because of that, Ling gained the confidence she needed to ensure she delivered a perfect performance.

Even after the break-up scene had concluded, both women had sat in a corner for a good half an hour, embracing and comforting each other. Ling vividly remembered resting her head on Orm's shoulder while the younger woman whispered sweet words of encouragement. She remembered the way Orm's fingers would gently tuck loose strands of hair behind her ear or the way her hand would rub her back in a circular motion to comfort her. And then there were the caresses and kisses. As they were on set, kissing each other on the lips may have been a little too bold, but Orm never failed to shower her with kisses on her cheeks, nose and forehead.

The younger would tilt her chin so their eyes met, their foreheads touching, and stay like that for a while. Oh, how Ling loved getting lost in those amber-speckled eyes. She could see neverending stars and universes in those eyes alone and, at times, wonder how she managed to get so lucky in this life.

The other vivid memory etched into her brain as of late was the filming of their first proper love scene! It was embarrassing and reassuring (an unlikely combination, but go with it, yeah?). She didn't quite know how to describe it because, well...they weren't exactly 'acting' per se but were actually showing the entire crew how they gave and received love. Perhaps one of the most difficult aspects was trying to keep the love scenes as beautiful and PG-rated as possible. As much as she wanted to fling the clothing off the younger woman right then and there, she had to remind herself that there were still 10-odd people with their eyes plastered on them, including Mae Koy, for goodness sake! It was hilarious because, by the end of each take for the love scenes, everyone's faces would be as red as a tomato, including Director Nay as she fanned herself down.

As a result of the girls being so busy lately, they barely had any personal time together. With both women diligently studying their scripts each evening and Orm undertaking her university degree, their love-making was limited to quick sessions in various rooms around the house. Thankfully, they had never been caught red-handed yet, but Eclair always seemed to know regardless once she saw them. There was one time when Eclair had pulled them aside to touch up their lipgloss because she said, and I quote, "If both of your lips are going to look this kiss-swollen, then you might as well announce to the entire crew that you're eating each other! You literally had your make-up touched up 15 minutes ago!".
