I can't believe I just asked to kiss her. Where in the world did I even get this courage? Why are her lips so addictive? How am I going to stop the urges to constantly kiss her now?!
The candid kiss in the bathtub just now unlocked a new level in the relationship Ling and Orm shared. How could it not? Kissing your co-star during acting classes or workshops was one thing, but kissing them out of character was a whole different story. While the confirmation made the warmth in Ling's heart grow tenfold, another question begged to be answered. How exactly could they professionally navigate this newfound connection between them now that their feelings were mutual?
The last thing Ling wanted was for things to move too quickly and overwhelm both women. Let's not forget they hadn't even started filming for the series yet.
Realistically speaking, both women had only recently become familiar with each other, so to say that she was already afraid to lose the Orm seemed farfetched.
However, it was not. The strings of fate perhaps worked their magic the very first day she had met Orm several years prior, but it wasn't until just days ago, when Orm bounced into the workshop as Earn Sanithada, that she recognised a missing puzzle piece in her life had made its way back to her. She hoped that Orm felt the same way about this.
Considering how enthusiastic she was about kissing me just before, I'm sure she feels precisely the same way. Goodness, don't even get me started on those moans...
Ling buried her face in her hands, a shaky sigh leaving her as the entirety of their make-out session from moments ago vividly replayed in her head. Miss Orm Kornnaphat was going to be the death of her, in the best way possible, that is.
The sound of running water could be heard nearby, and Ling readjusted herself so that she sank back onto the plush sofa in the corner of the bedroom, allowing the various pillows and plushies to envelope her. Whatever tension in her body seemed to disappear as the sweet but calming scent of Orm's perfume that lingered within the room embraced her.
When the door to the bathroom finally swung open, Ling's heart skipped a beat as the younger woman stepped out in a loosely tied silken robe, legs for days, face freshly washed, and steam enshrouding her. She could see glimpses of the nightgown underneath, noting how dangerously low the cut between the breasts was. What she could not see, however, was how short it was. The silk robe sat just above her mid-thigh...so did that mean that Orm's nightgown was even shorter than that?!
Alarmed, Ling took a deep breath to calm down because she reminded herself she was to share a bed with this gorgeous woman tonight. God help her.
"Eyes up here, soldier," Orm giggled, gesturing to her face.
Shades of red painted Ling's cheeks as she was caught red-handed. She smiled sheepishly as the younger woman approached her.
"I take it you like my sleepwear?" Orm smirked, letting the robes drop to her shoulders, revealing the entirety of her outfit.
For fucks sake, that was the skimpiest kind of sleepwear Ling had ever seen in her life.
"Perhaps," she squeaked as Orm shrugged off her robe, throwing it to the side and doing a pirouette. Ling gulped hard, unable to stop herself from staring at how the silken fabric seemed to hug the younger woman's body in all the right places. It was loose enough that it looked comfortable to sleep in, yes, but would take no effort at all, should Ling want to slip her hands underneath that fabric.
Argh! The intrusive thoughts are back again!
Ling stood up abruptly, the plushies tumbling all over the sofa, and started walking towards the bathroom.
