Amara's POV

"Ako na maghahatid sa isang 'to, Gemma," paalam ni Noah bago ako hilahin palabas ng school court. Kakatapos lang ng practice nila and time check, it's already 4 pm.

"Saan mo ako dadalhin?" I asked him. "There's this new park near my condo, and I wanna check it out with you," he replied with this wide smile na halatang excited siya.

Pagkasakay namin sa car niya, pinaandar na niya agad 'to. So, I just stayed quiet during the trip, listening to the music playing in his car.

"Okay lang naman na pumunta ka sa condo ko, right?" he asked, glancing at me before focusing back on the road.

"Bakit? Anong gagawin sa condo mo?" I asked, feeling a bit nervous.

"Maliligo lang ako, mabilis lang 'to, then we can head to the park," he explained, so I just nodded, even though I was a bit anxious about everything.

"Don't worry, mataas ang respeto ko sayo, so trust me, okay?" he said before holding my hand while the other hand stayed on the wheel.

"Wait, bakit nga pala sa condo ka nakatira?" I asked. "Wala naman akong kasama sa bahay namin, and it's super big, baka ma-feel ko lang lonely. So, I chose the condo kasi mas maliit," he replied with a smile before winking at me.

"Where's your family?" I asked again. "Nasa U.S. silang lahat. Yung two sisters ko, si Mom, and Dad," he answered.

"Bakit nandito ka?" I asked again, and he chuckled while looking at me. Shet, ang pogi.

"Ayaw mo ba?" he teased, but I gave him an annoyed look. "Joke lang, nandito ako kasi ewan. If I stayed there, baka I’d still be treated like a 7-year-old. Grabe sila, they don’t want me to grow up," he explained, and I laughed because I thought of something funny to tease him.

"Baby?" I asked, and he looked at me with a mischievous grin. "Yes, babe?"

"Hindi 'yan ang ibig kong sabihin! I mean, kung baby na baby ka nila?" I teased him, and I couldn’t hide my kilig while he was laughing hard because he said my cheeks turned red.

"Sometimes, kapag nanlalambing sila," he answered, still smiling like he wanted to laugh some more.

"Sino mas close mo, mom mo or dad mo?" I asked again. "My dad," he answered briefly before the car stopped—traffic kasi.

"Bakit nacurious ka bigla?" he asked, looking puzzled. "Wala lang, I just noticed I’ve been sharing a lot about my life, but not much from you," I said, and he agreed before moving closer to fix my hair. Enebe, this guy!

"So pretty," he said after fixing my hair, so I just rolled my eyes and adjusted how I was sitting.

"By the way, ano bang business niyo?" I curiously asked. Sometimes kasi when he laughs, parang he's coughing out dollars.

"We own a hospital in the U.S., that’s why my sisters are there, kasi they work there now," he answered, and my jaw dropped. Hospital?!!! Shet, this is someone you marry and love for life.

"Eh, bakit ka nag-architecture?" I asked, kasi his family is full of Medicine graduates. "Trip ko lang. I was bored. Then naalala ko, nag-roleta ako, and I got Architecture, so yeah, that’s what I took," he said, laughing, while I was still in shock. Grabe, when rich people are bored, they just spin their destiny.

"How about your family, anong business niyo?" he asked, so I sat up straight and acted sexy. "Business? Sorry, pero ganda lang ng lahi puhunan namin," I joked, making him laugh.

"Perfect, mas maganda kung pagsasamahin natin genes natin," he said, looking at me, but I just rolled my eyes. Grabe, ang advance mag-isip!

"Now that you mention it, maybe you’re right. Pero mas maganda if the baby gets your nose, ang tangos kasi! Then for height, okay 'yung height mo for a boy, pero kung girl, sa akin nalang para cute," I said, but he just kept looking at me with a smile.

"Ay, sorry. Bakit nandito na tayo sa topic na 'to, di pa nga tayo kasal and nasa ligaw stage palang," I quickly added, and he laughed softly before starting the car again.

"May gusto ka bang kainin?" he asked, and I paused to think. "Kahit ano na lang," I replied, and he looked even more confused about what to buy.

"Sige, I’ll buy everything we see at the park," he said sarcastically, making me laugh loudly.

When we parked at his condo’s parking lot, we headed straight to the elevator going up to his floor.

"Amoy pawis ba ako?" he asked, pulling his shirt closer for me to smell. But as I leaned in, he kissed my forehead, so I playfully hit him because of the kilig.

"Sarap sapakin," I said before stepping out of the elevator. After we got out, he went ahead to open the door for me.

When the door opened, my jaw dropped. The place was huge! As an architecture student, I was super inspired by the setup of his condo.

You wouldn’t even think it’s a guy’s place dahil sa sobrang linis. And what’s Noah talking about na he moved to his condo 'cause it’s smaller? What’s small here? The place was massive! The living room was gorgeous, very aesthetic, and the TV was huge.

"Do you watch Barbie here?" I teased him, amazed at how big the TV was, but he just laughed before placing our stuff on the couch.

"Maliligo lang ako, wait ka lang dyan, ha?" he said before heading into a black door that I assumed was his room. But before he could go in, tinawag ko uli siya.

"Pwede manood?" I asked, leaning on his huge TV. He nodded with a smile before disappearing into his room.

While waiting for him, I sat down and started browsing through his TV to find something to watch.

----

"Hi, pretty," Noah suddenly appeared behind the couch, his hands now on my cheeks. I looked up at him.

"Tara na?" I asked, standing up and fixing my outfit, especially my skirt, which had ridden up while sitting.

"Y-yes, tara na," he stuttered before grabbing my bag, leading the way out, so I followed him until we were outside his building.

"Maglalakad tayo?" I asked, and he nodded before glancing at my shoes, which seemed to surprise him.

"Oh, shoot, I forgot you’re wearing heels," he said before scanning the area and calling over a guy in a black suit. He moved a bit farther from me to talk to him.

"Maya darating na shoes mo," he said, surprising me. I could probably walk naman. "Hala! Bakit ka pa nag-ano? Okay lang 'tong shoes ko, I can manage," I told him.

"Baka sumakit pa ang paa mo," he replied, wrapping his arms around me, resting his chin on the top of my head.
