Throughout the day, Liam kept noticing Gabriel acting a little strange. He kept glancing his way, almost as if trying to see if he was watching. He also always had a smirk on his face, which Liam was not used to seeing. Yes, Gabriel smirked quite often, but not usually like that.
It gave him chills that he wasn't sure if he liked or not. They were a little pleasant, but also gave him a strange feeling; a need to obey whatever Gabriel's request was whenever he was around.
All in all, Liam was starting to get a little confused. This stuff was hard to figure out even for him. Silas was the only person who could make sense of the situation. But even Silas's theories were ridiculous.
But again, Liam was in over his head, and nothing seemed reasonable anymore. Except Gabriel's suggestions anyway. At first, he didn't pay much attention to it, until Silas mentioned it during lunch the next day.
"Liam, are you okay?" He asked. Liam glanced up from the spaghetti he was eating. "Yeah." He replied. "Why?" Silas shrugged. "I don't know, I just felt that something was strange with you, that's all."
"Does your theory have anything to do with Gabriel?" Silas was silent for a moment before he bit his lip and nodded, cautiously. "I'm getting more and more suspicious of him by the minute." He explained. Edward was glaring at Gabriel from across the room. "I am too, but way faster and for a different reason." He agreed.
"Do you think the suspicion has something to do with me?" Liam asked, nervously. Silas and Edward didn't respond for a minute. "It could very well be." Liam scrunched his eyebrows. "Why?"
"Well, you've been acting a little different all day." Silas answered. "It's not a huge difference, and it's not noticeable unless your one of us." Liam bit his lip, unsure of how to react.
"This might be related to your hypnosis theory." Edward said after a moment. "It could be." Silas mumbled in agreement. Edward narrowed his gaze back to Gabriel, this time more curious than angry or hostile. "I'll see if I can get Gabriel alone for a minute after school so we can get a better hint as to what's going on with him and Liam."
"Hopefully my gut feeling about him and what I think it's stemming from is correct."
