Rory slowly blinked awake, the smell of fresh coffee and something delicious wafting through the air. She turned to see Logan standing at the foot of the bed with a tray, a proud smile on his face.

Logan: "Good morning, Ace. I thought you could use a little pampering today."

Rory sat up, a smile spreading across her face as she took in the sight of the beautifully arranged breakfast: fluffy pancakes, fresh fruit, and a steaming cup of her favorite coffee.

Rory: "Logan, this is amazing. You didn't have to do all this."

Logan: "Of course I did. You deserve it. Plus, I wanted to make sure you start the day off right."

He carefully placed the tray on her lap and sat beside her, watching as she took her first bite. Rory savored the moment, feeling a warmth spread through her that had nothing to do with the food.

Rory: "Thank you, Logan. This means a lot."

Logan: "Anything for you and our baby."

They shared a tender moment, the reality of their new journey sinking in. With Logan by her side, Rory felt ready to face whatever came next.

After breakfast, Rory and Logan decided it was time to start sharing their big news with their family. They knew it wouldn't be easy, but they were ready to face it together.

Logan: "So, who do you want to tell first?"

Rory thought for a moment, then smiled. "I think we should start with my mom. She'll probably react the most... energetically."

Logan chuckled, knowing how passionate Lorelai could be. "Good idea. Let's call her and see if she and Luke can meet us at the Dragonfly Inn for lunch."

Rory nodded and grabbed her phone, dialing her mom's number. After a few rings, Lorelai picked up.

Lorelai: "Hey, kiddo! What's up?"

Rory: "Hey, Mom. Logan and I have some news, and we were hoping you and Luke could meet us for lunch at the Dragonfly?"

There was a brief pause, then Lorelai's excited voice came through the phone. "Of course! We'll be there. Is everything okay?"

Rory: "Yes, everything's fine. We just have something important to share."

They hung up, and Rory turned to Logan, feeling a mix of excitement and nerves. "Here we go."

Logan squeezed her hand reassuringly. "We've got this."

A few hours later, they arrived at the Dragonfly Inn, where Lorelai and Luke were already waiting. They exchanged hugs and settled into a cozy corner table. After some small talk and ordering their meals, Rory took a deep breath and looked at her mom.

Rory: "Mom, Luke, we have some news. Logan and I are having a baby."

Lorelai: "What?! A baby?! Rory, are you serious?!" Lorelai's voice rose, and she looked a bit panicked. "How could you—"

But then she stopped herself, catching a glimpse of her own reflection in a nearby mirror. She realized she was reacting just like her own mother would have. Taking a deep breath, she softened her tone.

Lorelai: "I mean, wow, Rory. This is big news. Are you okay? Are you happy?"

Rory nodded, tears of relief in her eyes. "Yes, Mom. Logan and I are really happy."

Lorelai reached across the table and took Rory's hand, squeezing it gently. "Then I'm happy for you too. You're going to be an amazing mom."

Lorelai took a deep breath and composed herself. She looked at Rory with a mixture of concern and pride.
