Home was supposed to be a place where you feel at peace or where you wouldn't even want to leave when you're asked to, at least that's what I heard. But here I was wishing to leave my own house when I wasn't even there yet.

Saheed has been staring at me from the rearview mirror occasionally since the ride. I sighed as I looked at the mirror locking our eyes. Saheed quickly averted his eyes when he was caught.

"She's back right?" I blurted out making him to glance at me a little before focusing on driving.

"I didn't say anything." Saheed defended immediately and I rolled my eyes.

There was something fascinating about saheed and that was the fact that this nigga was very bad at lying, his eyes were always the first to give him out.

"You didn't have to, your eyes did the talking pretty well." I said turning to look at the cars zooming past the white range Rover.

"Miss I just think you should—"

"Don't think saheed, just drive and earn your pay every month like you're meant to do!" I snapped at him angrily.

"Sorry miss." He apologized turning the steering wheel as he drove into the estate.

The reason for this intensed situation, was because of the woman I called mother. She always had this impact on me every single time.

I tell myself not to lose it but I do, she was a bitch and she knew it. Even after driving  and frustrating dad to his death she still had that guts to bring men into the house.

I hated her, so so much that it made my skin crawl anytime I thought about seeing her or even talking to her.

My life In America was peaceful, at least I didn't have to see her face or pick her calls if I didn't want to. But here in this fucking country, I saw her face every time and it irked me, it made me nauseous.

"Miss, we're here." Saheed announced, he didn't say anything about it, but I felt guilty about snapping at him like that.

"Okay, and saheed." I paused as he turned back to stare at me." Sorry about earlier, am just going through a lot lately and it was wrong of me to just dump it all one you." I apologized but he just waved it off with a smile.

"It okay, miss." He assured me hopping down from the car  to get the door for me.

I gave him a calm smile," thanks, but you know you don't have to do this right?" I told him as he closed the door.

"I have to, it my job after all." He said and I nodded before walking towards the front door.

I inhaled a deep breath,  placed my hand on the handle of the front door. The golden door handle bent down on my will as I made my way into the large living room, closing the door behind me.

The white themed living room screamed LUXURY in capital letters, from the mutilighted chandelier hanging on top of the living room ceiling to the luxurious brown coloured couches probably bought with a whole lot of money, there were a lot of golden artifacts hanging around the room, either in a table or on places made especially for them.
