🔌🎤 Vee's POV 🎤🔌
After talking to Astro, he seemed pretty pissed, he never usually is..And, I think he has a good point..I need to work on not being so blunt all the time. Anyways, besides that, I need to get an update from Dandy. Usually every few days in a few months I get an update so I'm not what Berry Boy ((Sprout)) calls me; "Outdated-tech". Now besides that, I'm currently walking to Dandy's office. I've also noticed Shelly's eyes were red. What the fuck was she crying about? I would have told her to "Suck it up." or "Get over it, it's not the end of the world." But after the chat with Astro, I'm gonna avoid saying anything to her.
*Knock..Knock..Knock..*
I knocked on Dandy's door, waiting for a response from him. I could hear him typing away for a second before stopping, a roller chair sliding against the floor until the door opened.
"Ah! Vee!! Perfect timing!" Dandy spoke with his cheerful demure. Vee huffed a bit. Vee and Dandy didn't have the..Best, interactions with each other. Vee disliked Dandy, thinking that there was something suspicious with him.
Pebble was sitting next to Dandy's desk, he perked up and barked. He seemed excited with his tail wagging side to side pretty aggressively.
"Bworf!! Bowrf!!" Pebble jumped up running around Vee's leg jumping up onto her a bit.
"Pebbles! Get back here, Vee needs to get an update! Not a demolishment!" Dandy picked up Pebble, pausing for a second.
"Ignore that, that didn't make any sense heh!" Dandy chuckled to himself, giving Vee an uneasy feeling. "Alright Vee, could you stand on the Charging pod right here?" Dandy pointed to the dark green charging pod with little claws to keep machines like Vee in place with being reset, updated, sleeping etc etc.
"Okay.." Vee kept her responses short and simple, she stood on the charging pod, adjusting herself and spreading her arms out for the claws to grab them.
"Alright, I'll just place this USB in your back then the update will begin!" Dandy spoke carefully, grabbing the USB and carefully placing it in Vee's back, she smiled slightly and stood back up placing his hands on his hips.
"Perfect! Now, time for an update!" Dandy chuckled to himself walking back to his desk.
My vision shut off to black, and my screen flashed black to an empty bar with the word; "UPDATING..." For me, it feels just like a quick slumber but to others, it's just well...an update. This update was longer than others I've had, so it took quite a while from what I heard from Dandy.
*2 HOURS LATER..*
My screen fluttered back, and I carefully opened my eyes to Dandy pulling out the USB from my back and closing the little hatch so not dirt and grime get inside the USB port. The claws released me and I stepped out, wobbling a bit after standing for 2 hours straight.
"That was a pretty long update huh?" Dandy chuckled hopping onto his chair and letting Pebble jump up onto his lap for some pets.
"Hm. Well, what was added to my system?" Vee questioned crossing her arms.
"Ah, just some basic stuff like; new feelings/emotions, better knowledge, more connection abilities with your m-" Dandy would list on before getting interrupted by Vee
"Wait wait wait. New emotions? Don't I already have that crap? Like anger, anxiety, yadda yadda, Why do I need more emotions?" Vee raised a suspicious eyebrow.
"Ah well, your toon handler looked into your code and noticed some missing emotions and she knew that I usually give you the updates so she assigned me to code some more into you. You with me?" Dandy shrugged, giving an awkward chuckle, Vee didn't seem to believe it but if it was her toon handler then maybe he was speaking the truth..
"..Alright then. Well, thanks anyway I guess." Vee gazed at the floor, deep in thought before turning away and heading to the door, waving goodbye to Dandy before heading out the door.
"See you next time! heh!" Dandy continued to pet pebbles, raising an arm and waving goodbye quickly with a big smile on his face.
*LATER..*
I sat in the kitchen, with Cosmo and Sprout baking some goods, I would practice mentally how to be nicer and give people better responses.
'Hey, uh.. Cosmo? Sprout? I need some help.." Vee called out, glancing at Sprout and Cosmo, fidgeting with her fingers.
"Yes? What is it?" Cosmo called out, turning his head to look at Vee, he smiled warmly.
"So uh..Astro spoke to me about not being so straightforward and blunt about everything and I've been thinking..Could you guys help me with that?" Vee spoke awkwardly, standing and walking over to the two, shrugging with her arms crossed.
"Of course! We'll just finish off these cookies then we'll be glad to help you, Vee!" Sprout turned around to face Vee and winked at her, giving a cheerful smile like Cosmo.
"Thank you! I needed this"

Editors Note: hehe haha, I left u on a cliffhanger, but anyway I had fun writing this and I hope u had fun reading this, but I have to end this here since I need to go to school soon and I may or may not not be able to make another chapter soon since, of course in the last chapter I said that I was going to be with my dad BUT it's only for 4 days so not too long I hope you enjoyed this anyways bye bye!!! :P
