Y/N

My phone pinging on the bed is the cause of my stubbed toe, I didn't know a single sound of a text could make a person lose all control of their body but here I am.

Icing my toe because I was so excited Bachira texted me back that I stubbed my toe running to my bed. I never knew my life would revolve around my phone outside of work, my heart soars when I hear the ping.

Ever since I gave Bachira my number 2 weeks ago, we have been texting nonstop, he even randomly texts me during the day. Every morning I get a good morning text and every night I receive a good night one, I have turned into one of those girls who smile at their phones like a weirdo.

"Do I even want to know?" Mitsuki raised a brow and pointed to the ice pack on my toe.

I blushed and shook my head, she smirked and sat on the bar stool next to me. "Now I really want to know."

I groaned. "I ran to my bed and stubbed my toe."

Her annoying thin eye brow raised and stared at each other until I eventually broke. "Because Bachira texted me." I mumbled, hoping she wouldn't understand me.

Her blinding smile let me know that she did and I closed my eyes in embarrassment. "Don't be embarrassed, that's so cute!" Her smiled faltered then her head tilted. "I thought you were just friends?"

"We are." I squeaked out before shaking my head. "We are.. we just text." I shrugged.

"Only texting?" She questioned and I nodded.

"Okay, well tell me when he calls you. That's when you move a little outside of friends and into the more category." She smirked and I rolled my eyes.

"He hasn't called because we're friends."

"Uh-huh." Her eyes traced my face and she gave me a soft smile. "You look happier, I like this new side of you."

I hung around my fathers house for the rest of the day helping her get ready for the party we had this weekend. Why we had to start "getting ready" for it 3 days before? I have no idea but I chose to trust Mitsuki, she had it down to a science. After saying bye and heading home; I thought about what she said, does calling really mean that?

I was lounging on my couch watching Netflix when my phone started ringing, confused as to who was calling me this late, I flipped my phone over and gasped. Bachira's name flashed on my screen and I froze before I snapped out of it and answered it.

"Hello?"

"Hey.. Did I catch you at a bad time?" His sweet voice filtered through my speaker and I swooned.

"No." I smiled. "I'm just watching some Netflix. What about you? What are you doing?"

"Same. What are you watching? Let's watch it together." He said and I smiled. "Only if you want to.."

"I do." I laughed.

For the rest of the night we watched a show we never seen and talked about everything and anything, I have never smiled or laughed more in my life; it was perfect. We fell asleep on each other but waking up and hearing his "good morning" come through my phone in his morning voice that should be illegal, was the best way to start my day. I was so immersed in my work that a knock at the door made me jump.

"Good morning, Hot Doc." Chigiri smirked and I shook my head. What I learned from working here for 2 weeks was that all the boys were flirts.

"Yes, Chigiri?" I asked with a roll of my eyes, he was the worst one.

"You wound me babe. I was wondering if you could take a look at my leg for me." He slowly lifted his shorts up wearing a smolder and I laughed which he eventually joined in.
