10 Years Later

"Heathens, all of you!" I groaned then bit my lip to stop from smiling. Megu and our four crazy children sat on the couch each wearing the same smile. Their father's smile, it was equally annoying and adorable.

Today it was annoying because they were covered in cuts, bruises and blood; at least it wasn't something serious.

"Lovely.." Megu said and I narrowed my eyes at him before pointing.

"Don't you lovely me." I scoffed.

"Mommy it was my idea." Our oldest son, Ryo our 9 year old said and I rolled my eyes.

"Try again, I know this was your fathers idea."

"Mommy?" Our twin sons, Minato and Mitsuru said at the same time and my gaze moved to them, I raised a brow.

"It was our idea."

I rolled my eyes, they were 6 and perfectly in sync? That whole statement is doubtful. I looked over to our youngest daughter Reina who now was nodding like she knew exactly what we were talking about.

She might as well be 16 instead of 4, it was truly insane how much of Meguru they took after. Reina was the only one who looked like me but the boys? Looked exactly like him. The best and worst part? They all had his personality so I was surrounded by goofy humans getting into trouble, like today.

Megu thought it was a good idea to take them around our property on our Polaris, which on paper didn't seem like a bad idea. Throw in acres of land, rocks and a dirt trail, well we end up with this.

Cuts, bruises and blood all because of a closed eye laugh and a rock that made Megu swerve and made them crash; I was going to die of a heart attack one of these days.

Megu stood and slowly walked towards me, almost like I was a predator. He wrapped his arms around me and sighed when I allowed it. "It was my fault." He kissed my cheek. "I was the one driving and I should have been paying attention."

"Yes, you should have." I sighed.

"Your babies are okay, mama bear." He smiled and I relaxed; he knew exactly what I needed to calm down so I nodded.

Mitsuki came out the corner with Dad and her eyes widened. "I swear to God, Meguru." She grumbled but smiled when the kids jumped up with gasps. "Come on, babies." She held out her hands and Dad also held out his with a chuckle.

"Let's leave your mom and dad alone." He said.

"Mommy's gonna yell at daddy." Ryo said and Megu gasped like he was outraged; I had to bite my lip to stop from laughing,

"Lovely.." He murmured in my ear after they left and I sighed.

"Megu.. Why are you trying to give me a heart attack?"

He kissed my neck. "I'm sorry, I honestly took my eyes off the trail for one second. It was so scary." He whispered and I could hear the fear in his tone.

I rubbed his back and he relaxed more into me. "Please just promise me to be careful."

"I don't think i'll be taking them on it for awhile." He shivered.

I chuckled. "Traumatizing?"

"You have no idea." He murmured. I shook my head with a smile. "Did you go all over protective papa bear?" I teased and he hugged me tightly.

"We may or may not have sat on the dirt in a huge hug because I was afraid to let them go." He looked sheepish but I melted, he really was an amazing father.

"No wonder you to so long. Did you cry?" I smirked.

He scoffed but buried his face in my neck so I couldn't see his expression. I raked my fingers through his hair and I chuckled. "You did, didn't you?"

"Don't be mean, lovely. They're our babies and I feel fucking terrible."

"They're okay. Kids are resilient, especially our kids since you're their father." I smiled, his head whipped up but I grabbed the sides of his face and pulled his lips to me before he could say anything.

Like always he melted into the kiss before separating and resting his forehead against mines. "I am sorry, lovely."

"It's okay, baby. I know you'd never intentionally put them in danger."

"Just accidentally?" He mused and I laughed.

"Yeah, just accidentally." I smirked.

We kissed for a few more moments before the sounds of running feet were coming out way, we turned to see our pack of heathens coming towards us. What felt like all at once their arms wrapped around us.

"FAMILY HUG!" The kids yelled and Megu smiled big and repeated the same words making me laugh.

He looked down at me and held my cheeks. "I love you so much."

I smiled back. "I love you so much too."

When he kissed me the kids all said "ewwww" so our kiss was cut short. Megu gasped. "Our kisses are not ew!" He then began his daily chasing of our kids because they called our kisses ew.

I watched them interact and I let out a wistful sigh mixed in with laughs and shakes of my head. By the end we were all wrapped in another "family hug" and I wouldn't have it any other way.

"My lovely.. I love you."

I smiled at him and gave him a kiss. "I love you." I said softly.
