Nya always saw her friends playing games, always trying to outcompete each other, but they cannot outcompete Jay. He is THE master of gaming. So much skill could have been used for training but it went into this.
While they were playing games, she thought of many things, she daydreamed many things while doing the dishes. She thought about beating Jay in a video games. That probably wont happen, but what if she did.
She sat on the sofa, holding a controller. Sat with her friends against Jay.
"Are you sure about this, sis? Jay is aggressive!"
"I am not! Not to Nya at least!"
"Because you are soft."
"Awe, thanks, Jay."
With that the Game started. Jay and Nya went against each other in a 1v1 match. Racing to the edge of the game while battling each other.
Other teammates watched on, eager to see what Nya had on her sleeves.
But Jay does not want to make Nya upset, so he decides to give her a chance and goes soft on her.
While Nya, Competative she is, angrily collected points and continued racing to the edge.
Jay however, seeing how determined she is, decides to slow down, much to Kai dismay.
The game went as long as she remembers. She had fun.
Soon the match comes to a close. With Nya winning.
"Looks like Nya is the best gamer here!" Jay cheered as Kai just stood there shocked.
"What. No. You went easy on her."
"Nah, she is just good. Better than you."
"Um." Kai lost his word at Jay's comment as Nya laughed.
At the end Nya hugged Jay.
"Nya, I know you want to see his face so badly. So I gave you it." Jay smiled as the mist faded away
She was too engulfed in her daydream that she finished cleaning all of the dishes that she had finished. She went out of her dream as soon as she felt nothing in the sink.
"Oh."
Nya finished and looked back to see all her teammates still playing the game. Apart from Lloyd, who knew where he went.
It was Kai and Jay's turn, with Kai desperately trying to beat Jay only to fail.
Nya chuckled. What if she bewildered Kai if she won? Kai would finally admit she is better than him, right?
Jay would obviously go soft and let her win.
With that Nya walked up to them. "Mind of I try?"
"Sure sis, get ready to-"
"I mean against Jay."
"I mean Jay here is the bes-"
"Worth a try." Nya shrugged as she received the controller from Kai.
"You sure about this?"
"I know your secret Jay."
Jay chuckled as started the game. Jay knows one thing about games that makes him succeed: don't let feelings get in the way, the very reason why Kai keeps on losing.
The game starts, and they both go on rapid speed.
Nya does have experience in gaming, just not in competitive surroundings.
Both tried their hardest, but to everyone's surprise, Jay did not go easy and just went hard on his girlfriend. He does not care about his emotion.
It just about beating the game.
This match was a long one, with Nya struggling to keep up.
Sure, Jay loves Nya, but that does not matter in the game, competition-wise at least.
The match soon ends with Jay beating Nya. Jay looked at Nya's distraught and chuckled.
"What? You thought I would go easy?"
"Well, I thought you would." Nya huffed as Jay hugged Nya.
"Well, this is the reality. I am a pro gamer. I want to be the best. and I say THE best. You know what game comes with? Passion. And with that passion, I grew to be the best of the best, and with that, I can teach you, but I don't think you would be interested. But hey, a game is a game you know. You can have fun, you can create new friends, you can utteraly demolish your rival that you have really rules up because you lost that pathetic match in a random game you have never played before--"
Rest of the team besides Nya sighs, they know Jay will yap on and on about gaming. He IS the master of talking after all.
"Ok, Jay we get the poin-"
Jay just interrupted Kai as he just continued speaking.
"And you know what comes with gaming?" Jay finally asked Nya after minutes of talking.
"Continue." Nya asked, she does not mind him yapping, unlike other teammates.
"The friend we made along the way! Nya, I don't care if you lost. It's about spending time! With you! Nya you have no idea how much fun I had."
"Oh," Nya smiled. "But let me win next time."
"Nah nah. Keep that in your dreams. This is a reality. After all, I am the greatest gamer of all time."
"..."
"What?"
"Jay..."
"Sorry." Jay chuckled as he hugged Nya "I'll try to be more... fair. I can teach you stuff."
"Really?"
"In your dreams."
"Wha- Jay!"
"Ok, I kid. But honestly, I can help. That means we can spend more time together."
"If it means beating Kai."
"Of course"
A/N: I went with a different route. Hmmm
