Sets after One shots of "Ninjago Next Generation x Texting the Ninjas"

Back in the Junkyard, Jay, Nya and their twin children were clearing out the barren Junkyard where their grandparents once lived.

It's no longer in use now, even the caravan was moved elsewhere.

"I just wish, others were here too. Yet they HAVE to make excuses!"

"You do know, we never asked anyone, right?" Alex retorted back at Justin complaints.

"I mean them offering to help would be better than us asking them". Justin looked at Alex, who was putting garbage in a neat pile to be sold.

Meanwhile, Jay and Nya were looking at the twins while clearing out the more dangerous part of the junkyard.

"Look, Jay. Look how far we have come."

"Yeah, it feels like only yesterday they were playing here when they were little."

"Good old times." Nya smiled, but Jay frowned a bit. Something was on his mind.

"How fast they have grown." Jay smiled at his two children, they were happy.

"Anyways, I think we should tell them about Nadakhan comi-"

"Over here, Dad! I found something!" Justin interrupted Jay.

Jay walked down the huge pile and went towards the twins.

"What is it?"

"Over there, that's your workshop, isn't it?"

Jay looked at the direction his son pointed at, the old wooden shed, used to behind the caravan. Jay's little private workshop.

"Yeah." Jay chuckled as he stared at it. "It is, also my storage place. Look why don't you continue to sort out the junk?"

"Why, is something there that I am not totally not old to see?"

"Well, there is something in there I need to do first." Jay told Justin as he understood and went back to help Alex.

Jay walked in the workshop alone, seeing all the broken woods and tables and old fashion tools. It is a shame that this will be all gone now. The memories. Speaking of memories. Jay spots boxes and he immediately recognised one of the box. It dated back to when Jay first met Nya.

Curious, Nya went into the worship as well, seeing Jay being hesitant around something. A box.

"Are you alright? You seem nervous?"

"Hey, its nothing pretty much, just a box with pictures in it."

Nya knows too well that Jay is nervous.

"Jay, I know you too much, what's wrong."

Without answering a basic question, Jay went on and opened the box. In it were a bunch of photos and blueprints. Without warning Jay yeeted the contents inside the box onto the floor.

"I'll be honest, I was embarrassed to share these photos, some were failures and some were pictures taken of me that I am too embarrassed to look at now."

Nya leaned in see the photos. Nya smiled, it was all of the silly things Jay did when he was young. Some were the pictures of him hanging, doing things that would get him hurt.

"Look, Jay. All of these photos, it's cute. It is nice to see you having fun. Unlike nowadays."

"What."

"Nothing. Anyways..." Nya passed as she went up and picked up a picture with Jay having fun with his ice cream machine "Look here, it's just you having fund, there is no need to be afraid sharing this. They would love this!"

"Wait, how did you kno-"

"I have known you for nearly mn entire life Jay. There is no point hiding all this." Nya pointed at the floor, with pictures scattered across the floor."

"I mean still-"

"Look over here." Nya walked to another picture that is not far from here. "Look at how cute you are." Nya picked it up and showed to to Jay."

"Well, I guess I am." Jay smiled a bit. Jay rubbed his neck, he though that if anyone sees them, they will laugh at Jay being stupid or being dumb to realise that it is dangerous, it has happened before.

"These pictures, it shows how much you have grown. Every failure and how you overcame with these blueprints. These aren't things to be embarrassed about, these are history." Jay walked towards Jay and gave him little hug. "Plus these are your children, it would be pretty disrespectful of them to bully there father."

"Yeah." Jay looked at the floor.  He remembers getting bullied and made fun of, which made him hide inside the closet and now, perhaps, he can open up.

"Over here, look." Nya interrupted Jay though as she picked up another photo of him. "What do you think of this?"

"Well I think that they-"

"Don't think about others. What do YOU think?"

"I think..." Jay walked and looked at the photo Nya held up, it's of him holding a burnt screwdriver and his face covered in ash, standing next to a broken machine.

"Eh, I think they will fi-"

"Jay, no-"

"I mean Alex and Justin. I am worried. They will think I am a failure."

"But you grew up from it. You have learnt. Failure needs to exist for one to thrive. It shows your progress." Nya paused, she realised who he was talking about, it was not his bullies, it was his children."

"Jay, You cannot compare one set of bad people from your past to new ones. You were young, they were young. Kids are kids. Alex and Justin, they are your kids. And look at Alex, she is close to you than she is to me!" Nya walked close to Jay, giving every support he needs.

"You're right. It happened 30 years ago. I guess I was scared. They are still kids after all." Jay stood in silence, thinking about his past. Well, past is called a past for a reason, there is no reason to go back to it. "Fine, I'll call them in." Nya and Jay smiled at each other and was going to go and get the twins, but not before they heard a loud crash.

"I am fine!"

"No, you are NOT"

"You are just baiting them to get here."

"What?"

Jay and Nya looked at each other as they ran outside to see a pile crashed, but it was nowhere near the twins.

"Don't worry, we will be clearing that up anyways. Also I have something to show you both." Jay gestured them to come inside the shed. Both of the face were at awe to see old photos of Jay.

"Justin look over here! The blueprints! They are just crazy!" Alex looked over at the pile excitedly. Before looking at her father. "Dad, I never thought you were this inventive!"

"Yeah." Jay rubbed his back as the twins excitedly looked at each photos and blueprints.

"Told you, it's fine. Look at all the fun they are having."

"Well, I guess I was nervous for nothing." Jay chuckled as he look over to his children look at everything on the pile.
