2/9 update
Jin was awkwardly seated at the passenger's seat as they made their way to the place of Mr. Choi, another rich Choi around the area.
When they have arrived, Jin realized that it's just like a normal house around the kingdom and it's not too big for him. When he mentioned earlier that he is cleaning pools with Jimin, that was the only thing he was allowed to do in the palace since the pool was his own and he can freely go around the place.
"We are here." Jungkook announced. He the sighed and looked at Jin. "Jin, if you really can't do the---"
"I can clean a pool, Jungkook." Jin said again. Devastated that Jungkook does not believe him.
Jungkook breathes out. "If you are sure, then I will let you, but please don't make any mistake. I've been working here for years now. Please don't make it hard for me." He said.
"I understand, but you have to believe me. I really can do it." Jin said.
Jungkook nodded at him. "Okay." He said.
They got down from the car then went straight to the door.
"Jungkook! You are here!" An old man said happily. "Oh you were with a friend?"
Jungkook smiled and then bowed. Jin looked at Jungkook then did the same.
"Good morning, Mr. Choi. My mom asked me to take Jin with me today. He's good in cleaning pools. Since Hyunsuk-hyung is not around, Jin can help out."
"Oh, that is great! I will leave the pool to him then. You are too handsome to be cleaning the pool but I trust Jungkook in choosing someone to work with him." Mr. Choi said. "By the way, my granddaughter arrived yesterday and was looking for you. I told her you will be working at the office today. She will be here anytime soon and---"
"Kookie!" A girl shouted and both Jin and Jungkook looked at the direction. Jin was not able to look at the girl because she suddenly hugged Jungkook. His eyes widened upon seeing it.
Jungkook was equally surprised and was not able to move.
"T-Tzuya..." Jungkook said.
"I have missed you a lot, Kookie." She said.
Mr. Choi just laughed at it, but Jin did not like it at all. The girl seemed to be younger than him but his clinginess to Jungkook is too much. He frowned upon seeing that the girl is not moving away from Jungkook. However, he has a task to complete so he decided to just complete that instead of sulking.
"Please point me to the pool and I will start cleaning it." He said.
"Go straight here and you'll see a glass door. When you open it, the pool will be there." Mr. Choi said.
Jungkook looked at Jin and when he was about to leave them, he gently pulled away from the hug, removing Tzuya's hands on him then running towards Jin. Tzuya did not like the gesture at all and pouted when she saw Jungkook running for Jin.
"Hey, why are you in a rush?" Jungkook said when he was able to catch up with Jin.
"I don't have time to watch you and your..." He looked back. "I don't know.. girlfriend, probably." Jin said.
Jungkook chuckled and even though they are fighting currently, Jin admired how Jungkook chuckled with a simple smile. "She's not my girlfriend. She's just too clingy to me. She's just a kid. Let me guide you to the pool before I drive Mr. Choi to the office. I will be helping him with some office works today so I might just get back late." He said.
He then walked ahead and helped Jin towards the pool.
"It's a little bit big but it won't take a lot of time to clean it." Jungkook said, but upon looking at it, Jin is sure that it's not that big. His own pool in the palace is bigger than this, probably 4x bigger so he is sure that it will just be easier to clean it. "It takes a lot of time to drain it, then refill the water again but it's still better to clean it without the water." Jungkook said.
