When Jungkook arrived home, he just put his bag in his room and hurriedly went upstairs to check on Jin. He is excited for their date but his mother messaged him earlier about Jin's current state and they had a little misunderstanding. Although it's impossible, he also can't believe how his mother and Jin will have a misunderstanding. Still, Aera told him to talk to Jin and check on him.

He knocked at Jin's door multiple times, fearing that Jin is not okay.

When Jin opened the door, Jungkook was surprised to see his head low.

"Eomma told me that you are not feeling well." Jungkook said.

Jin nodded. "Let's cancel our dinner tonight." Jin said with his head still low.

Jungkook was surprised and disappointed but tried to understand Jin. He smiled and tried to act not affected.

"Hm? You really want that?" Jungkook asked.

Jin nodded at him.

"Okay. Why don't you come with me outside. Let's talk for a while?" He asked.

Jin wanted to disagree but when he looked at Jungkook and saw the innocent bunny smile, he nodded at him. He went outside guided by Jungkook to sit on a table that was just outside Jin's apartment.

Jungkook was looking at a far away place and Jin was just low-key staring at him.

"We usually stay here when I was younger. When my dad still afford to do double jobs and I don't really have to work. Our weekends would usually just be us bonding and eating barbecue here, together.

After my dad had a mild heart attack, all of our plans and daily activities changed. I do not blame my parents because they tried to give us whatever they can.

I started working to multiple jobs and abandoned my diploma. We lost those weekends because all of us are either tired or still working. Still, we try our best to be together, as a family."

Jin was just looking at him intently as he told him the story of his family.

Jungkook looked at Jin and the latter immediately blushed by the sudden stare.

"I don't have a lot of money, Jin. I don't have a decent job right now, but I am willing to date you and know you more. Eventually, I would like to be your boyfriend.

However, if you think I lack of anything. Please tell me now and I will stop with my plans of dating you." Jungkook said.

Jin's eyes widened then looked away from Jungkook.

"I-It's not that." Jin said.

"My mom said you had an argument with her which I think is impossible, considering that both of you are really calm and you both like each other. It might just be a reason for you to cancel the wedding."

Jin looked at him again and was about to cry. "N-no! I wanted for us to have a date, but...." Jin bit his lip, debating if he should tell Jungkook or not.

Jungkook smiled at him.

"It's okay, Jin. I understand if you are not interested in me and if I pushed you too much because we kissed. I am sorry if I have assumed things. Maybe, we really need time to think about it. I do not want to rush you.

I hope that it was not the reason why you and Eomma had a fight. She's still worried about you." Jungkook said seeing Jin's struggle, probably in telling him the truth that he did not truly like him.

Jin looked at him intently, as a lot of thoughts were circling around his head.

When Jungkook thought he has already said everything he wanted to say and Jin will not object, he stood up from his seat.
