Chapter 18

8/9 update...

Jin happily went down early in the morning to advise Aera that he can join him in the market. He felt that his foot is all better and he can walk better than before. He saw Jungkook already putting the fruits at the back of the car. Upon seeing him, he remembered the kiss they shared last night and he immediately smiled. He decided to talk to Jungkook later, but for now, he would like to greet him.

"Good morning, Jungkook." He said happily as he tried helping the man.

Jungkook looked at him and just nodded. Jin was surprised by the sudden dryness of Jungkook with him but he decided to shrug it off. He must be tired. He thought, so he just went to him and helped him with the boxes but Jungkook slapped his hand when he was about to get a box.

"I can take care of it." He said.

Jin was surprised by Jungkook's action and decided to just leave Jungkook alone.

Aera saw Jin and smiled at him. "Jin-ah, good morning. Will you be helping in the market today?" She asked.

Jin tried to smile at Aera but he's still not feeling good about how Jungkook treats him. "Y-Yes, eomonim." He said.

When Jungkook dropped all the boxes at the car, he immediately started the car.

Aera saw how Jin looks at Jungkook. She tapped his shoulder than smiled at him. "He's not in the mood since last night that he got home. It's not about you. Maybe he just got into a fight with Namjoon." She said.

"W-why would they fight? They're friends." Jin said.

"Sometimes, friends do fight. Just give him time. He will eventually realize his mistake. I also can't talk to him well since earlier." Aera said.

Jin got sad with what he heard. He is used to having a grumpy Jungkook, but after last night, he thought they are making progress. He also wanted to ask Jungkook about the kind of relationship they have now because they already kissed. He knows that in fairytales, the prince and princess will only kiss if they will get married or if they love each other, however, he is sure also that sometimes, real life is different. That is why he wanted to talk to Jungkook about it, but with the current situation, he doubts that Jungkook would even talk to him.

It was unusually quiet inside the car as Jin rode it. Aera seemed to be not bothered at all by it so he just thought that everything is fine. However, he locked eyes with Jungkook when he tried to look at him in the rearview mirror and the other quickly diverted his stare to something else, except Jin.

Jin sighed and did not make it an issue for now, he also did not talk to Jungkook anymore after.

As usual, the market had been very busy. There are a lot of customers who are in awe looking at Jin's face and some are even trying to hit on him but Jin did not notice at all. Aera saw how some men and women and trying to get Jin's attention, but Jin would only sell them the fruits. No one succeeded so far.

After few more hours, Jungkook arrived to help them out in packing when he saw a certain man trying to help Jin and even trying to touch his hand. He walked to them and helped Jin instead.

"Are you having challenges here, Jin?" He asked with a very stern tone of voice.

Jin immediately looked at him and so is the man. Jin was surprised that Jungkook finally noticed him.

"N-no. Just packing this mister's order." Jin said as he smiled at the man in front of him, which angered Jungkook.

"I will take care of it, Sir. How many kilos do you need?" Jungkook asked and took the paper bag from Jin.
