The air crackled with tension as Captain Nova and Viper clashed in the dimly lit factory. Nova could feel the weight of the world on his shoulders—lives depended on him stopping Viper's nefarious plan. The device behind Viper pulsed ominously, the countdown ticking down ominously, echoing through the cavernous space.

“Is this the best you’ve got, Captain?” Viper taunted, dodging Nova's punch with a swift sidestep. “You’re just a kid in a costume!”

“Maybe,” Nova retorted, regaining his footing and charging again. “But I’m not afraid of you!”

With a surge of energy, he unleashed a blast of light that knocked several henchmen off their feet. Viper stumbled but quickly regained his composure, a wicked grin spreading across his face.

“You think that’s enough to stop me?” he sneered, gesturing to the countdown clock. “You’re running out of time, Nova!”

Nova’s heart raced as he glanced at the clock—it read 3:00 minutes left. He couldn’t let Viper’s arrogance blind him. With a deep breath, he focused on the device, analyzing its intricate controls. If he could just get closer, he might be able to shut it down.

“You won’t get near it!” Viper yelled, summoning his remaining henchmen to block Nova’s path. “Get him!”

As they charged, Nova felt the familiar rush of adrenaline. With a swift kick, he sent one henchman crashing into another. The chaos erupted around him as fists flew and energy blasts illuminated the darkened room.

“Timmy! Are you there?” Nova shouted, hoping to get a status update.

“I’m here, Joe! I just got some civilians to safety. What’s the situation?” Timmy replied, his voice crackling with urgency.

“I’m in the factory! Viper’s got a bomb, and it’s counting down!” Nova said, dodging a punch from a henchman. “I need a distraction—something to buy me time!”

“Got it! I’ll create a diversion!” Timmy said, determination ringing in his voice.

Nova turned his focus back to Viper, who was smirking as he watched the chaos unfold. “You think you can win, Captain? You’ll never be able to stop me!”

Nova launched himself forward, determined to take down Viper once and for all. He ducked and weaved through the henchmen, his movements a blur as he focused on the villain. Just as he got within striking distance, the ground shook, and the factory lights flickered ominously.

“What was that?” Viper exclaimed, momentarily distracted.

Nova seized the opportunity. “This is for Valeria!” he yelled, launching a powerful energy blast at Viper. But just as it was about to hit, Viper dodged, sending the blast careening toward the countdown device.

“No!” Viper shouted, his eyes wide with horror.

The blast hit the device, causing sparks to fly and alarms to blare. Nova watched in shock as the countdown began to glitch, rapidly switching between numbers. He realized that he had triggered a fail-safe—either the device would explode or shut down completely.

“Your plan is falling apart, Viper!” Nova taunted, gathering energy for another attack.

“Not yet!” Viper yelled, desperation in his voice. “I can still stop it!”

He rushed toward the device, but before he could reach it, the ground shook again. This time, the entrance to the factory exploded inward, sending debris flying. Nova turned to see Timmy standing outside, a mischievous grin on his face.

“Hope you like fireworks!” Timmy shouted, pulling a lever connected to the power supply of the factory.

“Timmy! No!” Nova yelled, realizing what his friend was about to do.

With a loud boom, the power surged, sending arcs of electricity through the room. Viper was thrown back by the shockwave, crashing into a wall. The device flickered ominously, and Nova seized the moment.

“Now’s my chance!” he shouted, charging toward the bomb. He could see the timer rapidly ticking down—1:30, 1:29…

As he reached the device, he could hear Viper’s enraged screams behind him. “You’ll pay for this, Nova! You can’t escape me!”

Ignoring the threat, Nova focused all his energy on the device. “You’re not going to destroy this city!”

With a final surge of power, he slammed his hand onto the device's control panel, channeling his energy into the bomb. The lights flickered, and the countdown slowed to a halt, the numbers frozen at 00:05.

Just as he thought he had succeeded, the lights began to dim, and Viper stood, fury burning in his eyes. “You think you’ve won? This is just the beginning!”

Suddenly, a blinding light engulfed the room as the device emitted a final pulse. Nova shielded his eyes, feeling the heat of the energy surge. He knew this wasn’t over—not yet.

But for now, he had saved Valeria.
