Audrey Temple as Shay Mitchell

"Audrey," I heard my name in the intercom. "Your target is about 8 miles to your right, inside the hotel. He's on the fifth floor, in the black curtained room with a daisy plant by the window. The target is wearing a gray shirt. Can you locate him?"

My order was clear. My target was a 34 year old man that escaped from prison 2 days ago. He's from a group of assassins called Death; organized by criminals from all over the world. Their goal is to steal the most powerful nuclear bomb that can be used to dominate the world.

A secret company, PhoeNIX, raised me and my older brother, Aiden, every since we were kids. We were found alone in an abandoned shaft as newborn babies and the owner of PhoeNIX, Thomas Cross, treated us like his own children and trained us to be fighters. PhoeNIX is an organized group that specializes in gun fighting and their members are people that started shooting ever since they're young.

Master Cross have been very alert ever since he heard about the assassins... for he's the one holding onto the weapon. He's been on top of this case for two years, putting Aiden and I as snipers to assassinate the members of Death.

I zoom in close to the white hotel. "First, second, third, fourth, fifth," I silently count the floors and skim each room. I compared the people in their rooms to the piece of paper in front of me with the target's photo, spotting the target smoking a joint.

"Yes, the target is clear," I reply to the commander.

"Good, shoot to kill."

I adjust the rifle on my shoulder and make sure it's loaded. My finger is on the trigger, aiming at his head, when the target drops down on the floor.

What?

I look through my binoculars again to find him lying still on the floor, with a bullet hole through is forehead.

I gasp in disbelief. Someone killed him before I did?

"Commander," I finally spoke into the device.

"I know Audrey, we didn't realize another sniper was behind you until you were ready to fire," he spoke.

I looked behind me, skimming all the roof tops of higher buildings. My eyes locked on a figure wearing a black coat, black skinny jeans, leather boots and a blue beanie. He was standing straight with a rifle in his hand, staring straight at me.

He had curly brown hair with intense green eyes. He wasn't aiming at me, thank goodness, but his expression scared me. We broke eye contact and he walked away, walking back downstairs.

"Audrey, are you listening? Audrey?"

I snap back to reality. "Commander, I'm sorry."

"It's alright," he says. "Don't worry about it and go home. I'll report this to Master Cross and we'll figure out who that was, get some rest, Audrey."

"O-okay." I disconnected the intercom and packed everything inside my backpack.

Time for dinner, I sigh, taking fast and small steps down to a random restaurant.

The smell of Chinese food hits my face as I walked in. "Hi, I'll get a small dish of fried rice with shrimp and green string beans," I said to the middle aged women at the counter.

"Yes sweetie, it will be ready in 10 minutes," she smiles at me and types in my order on the computer.

"Oh, and a corn soup please," I quickly add.

She nods and in around 7 minutes later, she hands me the plastic bag and I hand her a ten-dollar bill.

As I walk towards the door, I hear a loud push.

"S-sorry!" Someone shrieks.

"It's fine," a raspy voice replies.

I look at the commotion to find the shooter from before walking towards the counter to order Chinese food.
