The next day Raghav found him in college heading towards his class for a lecture, he stepped inside, his eyes searching for someone but not finding her, a disappointment covered his face, he shook his head and started the lecture, a thought still coming in his mind, maybe she will be late but the lecture was about to over still she didn't came.

He finished his lecture, students started leaving the class, his eyes landed on her friends, Vanika and Krishnav, he thought to ask them, first he hesitated for a moment, then finally called out, " Hey Vanika, Krishnav listen", they listened to the voice and turned to see Raghav coming towards them.

He reached them and asked, "Um.. I.. Actually why didn't Janki come today?", he stammered, Vanika narrowed her eyes, a teasing glint visible in her eyes, spoke out, "But sir why are you asking?", Krishnav and vanika giggled, meanwhile Raghav felt awkward and said, "I.. I.. was just asking because she didn't miss any lecture even though she was late".

Vanika finally said, "Sir actually she was not feeling well today that's it, she said she will take notes from me", Raghav nodded, they made their way outside the class, Raghav in his office, his mind was full of thoughts of Janki, Is she okay? Why is she not feeling well? Does she have a fever? Is there anyone home? Who was taking care of her?.

His thoughts make him more concerned, he said to himself, "I think I should visit her", he stood up from his chair and took his bag and left the college, he reached his car, sat inside it, and made his way towards her home.

When he reached, stopped the car, there was only the sound of his footsteps walking towards the door, he rang the bell, no one opened, his stomach gripping with the knot of a different feeling, he rang again, after two to three bells, finally the door opened.

It was a Janki, wearing an oversized t-shirt and shorts, her hair tied in a messy bun, her eyes half-opened, half-closed, she raised her eyebrow, her expression changed to surprise, she asked, "Sir..? You? What are you doing here?", he stammered first and said ,"I.. I.. was just passing from here and thought to see you because you didn't come to college and..".

She interrupted, "Come inside", he nodded, he stepped inside, janki closed the door, they sat on the sofa, and she said, "I.. I.. was just having my periods today and the pain was so unbearable so I thought to not come today", he listened and said, "Ohh.. Is no one home?", she shook her head and said ,"No Actually Dii went to the office, Madhav and Radhika are in school, Papa also went to work and Mom went to her friend's house ".

She said, "Let me bring something for you", she was about to stand up, but Raghav held her wrist and said, "No no need, you should rest, go to your room, let me bring something for you", the world seemed to be faded away, a small touch of him send shiver down her spine, their eyes locked, his eyes never leaving her, she blinked and said, "No Sir, You don't have to".

Raghav said in firm voice, "Janki I said you should rest, go to your room, I will bring something for you, Okay?", his voice soft but firmed, she nodded and made her way towards her room.

She settled on her bed, rested a pillow on her stomach, took her novel and started reading it, After sometime Raghav stepped inside with a tray, on which there was a hot water bag, chocolates and her favourite donuts", her eyes widened in surprise also felt amused at his gesture.

He walked towards her bed, put the tray on the side table, and sat on the chair beside it, he took a hot bag from it and said, "Put it on your stomach, it will help reduce cramps", she took it form him and rested on her stomach, a smile curled at her lips seeing his care for her, she asked, "How do you know Donuts are my favourite?", a hint of excitement filled in her eyes, he said stammeringly, "Ac... Actually I had listened to your conversation with Vanika that day that donuts are your favourite, So I made it", he offered a plate towards her, she took one from the plate.
