Natsu returned to his modest apartment, a worn-down dwelling that echoed with the quietness of solitude.

The door creaked open, revealing a simple interior that bore the marks of time. He entered, locking the door behind him.

In his room, a thin blanket spread out on the floor served as his bed.

He opened a drawer, pulling out a worn wallet. Inside, a meagre sum of money – a mere 300 yen – stared back at him. Disappointment and frustration washed over him as he returned the wallet to the drawer.

He headed to the bathroom, his reflection distorted by the cracked mirror. In a moment of anger and self-loathing, he punched his own face, a silent cry of despair echoing in the small room.
