Tang: "The thing you need to understand about the old legends is that the story is never finished. There may be no pages left to turn, but there is always more to the journey. Rising from the Netherworld, the Demon Bull King attacked. No one could stop him, no one could resist. No one except... the legendary Monkey Warrior. The Monkey Warrior used his magical staff to pick up a nearby mountain. He trapped the Demon Bull King underneath it. The Monkey Warrior sealed the mountain with the staff that no other being could wield, trapping the Demon Bull King forever. With the battle won, the Monkey Warrior vanished, never to be seen again. Legend says the staff still lies on top of that mountain, the one thing keeping our world from certain destruction. And with the Demon Bull King gone, civilization was able to advance into the amazing city we now live in. A world of elegant cultures, gentle loving people, a city brimming with five-star cuisine, and all because of the Monkey Warrior."
While the noodle delivery man and the girl were listening to this story, which she had heard again and again, the girl jumped up from her chair with excitement. But the noodle delivery guy didn't seem too excited.
The noodle delivery boy was a young man with spiky village brown hair held up by a red bandana. He had chocolate brown eyes. He looked like he was at least 23 years old, but his movements were just like those of a young child. The boy was wearing a plain white shirt under a white shirt with the Pigsy's Noodles emblem on the back. There was an orange stain on the right side of his shirt. And he was also wearing red pants and black shoes.
The girl, on the other hand, had short chin-length black hair, two small ponytails, straight bangs, and two dyed green highlights framing her face. The back of his hair tapered at the bottom. The silhouette of his hair also resembled a dragon's head. She had pale pink lipstick on her lips and her eyes were green. He was wearing a white shirt and trousers, and a turquoise varsity jacket with spring green sleeves and red and gold trim on the collar. An image of a dragon was printed on the back of the jacket, representing her family's lineage.
Mei: "Oh, that's so good! Monkey Warrior's so cool! He's so strong and handsome-"
Tang chuckled at the girl.
Compared to Tang, Mei, and MK, he was quite a bit older, an adult man with straight black hair combed to the side. He wore round, gold-framed glasses. His eyes were also medium brown. Tang wears a changpao with white on the left side and red on the right, with gold buckles in the middle. He was wearing a red scarf and black boots. He was smiling proudly while giggling at the girl's energy.
MK: "Yes, he saved us, so that's a good thing..."
Mei and Tang didn't seem to notice, while MK looked away, seemingly unimpressed.
Tang: "Oh, Mei. And you thought you knew all the Monkey Warrior stories."
Mei excitedly came to Tang and opened her notebook with a green cover.
Mei: "Oh, but I do. I got his whole life documented extensively in this unauthorized autobiography of Monkey Warrior. Written and illustrated by yours truly. So I still don't know his birth and his background before the journey, but hey! It's like he used to go on a journey and I know he lives behind a waterfall with his sweetmonkey friends! And- and- and ah!”
As Mei continued to explain, Tang proudly looked at both the paper and the children. MK showed another monkey figure in the notebook.
The monkey figure was hugged Macaque, wearing a long-sleeved yellow robe with black trim and a turquoise neckerchief. She was wearing a spotted orange skirt with white lining and a blue belt. His pants were red and he was wearing black shoes. He also wore a yellow cap with a pale blue bow. Most of his face was torn off.
