Destiny's Puppet Show

The Monkie Kid team went to the movies. They were currently waiting for the movie to start in the cinema room.

This was actually one of the things they did to cheer MK up. The boy had been extremely depressed lately, and this was worrying everyone. That's why they wanted to help him.

MK: "I'm so excited! I haven't been to the movies in ages!"

Pigsy: "Uh, kid. This ain't a cinema."

Tang: "It's is a puppet show."

Tang supported his pig friend.

MK: "What? Puppets? No!"

MK released a Monkey Soldier poster.

MK: “I thought we were seeing Kung Fu Monkey Soldier: The Movie!”

Mei pointed behind.

Mei: “Eh, check the back.”

MK sees the back of the poster and shows the puppet play in which he and the others participated. Which disappointed the boy.

Then, they soon see Mayor and recognize him.

MK: "Oh, Mei. Isn't that the guy who gave us that weird key?"

Mei: "You mean the magic key that can unlock anything? Yeah, I'm pretty sure that is him, and I'm also pretty sure that he's still not actually the Mayor."

The Mayor slowly turned his head to the team and waved, still keeping that smile and laughing.

Mayor: "Hello!"

While MK waved at him, the others looked at the fake governor with disapproving looks.

Tang: "Eurgh. Well, that's not creepy at all."

Pigsy broke the tense moment.

Pigsy: "Point is, whatever we're watching, you've earned a break, kid."

Mei: "You have been training super hard. I can't even remember the last time we all just hung out together!"

She sighed and put her hand on her friend's shoulder.

Mei: "I missed this."

Tang: "So was Sandy just busy or..."

MK looked at his friends in confusion, not seeming to understand what they were doing.

MK: "What are you talking about? We hang out all the time!"

Mei: "Nuh-uh, you're not! It's always Monkey Warrior this or some scary skeleton thing that with you lately!"

MK was still tense as Mei made movements.

MK: "Well, yeah but-"

Tang looked angry at the boy as he came out.

Tang: "Just yesterday you blew off checkers night cause' you had to study. Study what, I might ask?!"

While he was throwing the checkers at MK, MK could no longer keep his calm.

MK: "Alright, alright! I get it! It's just, Monkey Warrior said..."

MK became even more nervous as the moment when he encountered Lady Bone Demon came to his mind.

"Picked the wrong student."

MK was trying to keep his cool as he sat back down.

MK: "I just... I need to be ready."

Pigsy looked at his son suspiciously.
