It was an autumn morning, and the fog from last night was just clearing up as Winter rushed into the café, yearning for warmth. She walked to the staffroom, turning on the lights and the heaters as she walked there, taking off her coat. Walking to her locker, she pushed her coat inside, pulled out her server apron and stood in front of the long mirror as she smoothed her white dress.

Yes, it was cold outside, but Winter knew that the UK weather was a bitch (it really is) and that it would probably get so hot during the day, so she just decided to suffer in the morning. She tied the server apron around her thin waist and moved to the front of the café, putting down the chairs before going to the back and grabbing the cleaning/ disinfecting spray and a disposable cloth before wiping the tables. Soon enough, her co-worker and best friend, Giselle (along with two other co-workers) also arrived, helping her clean up and open the café. The good thing about working in a café is that it's never too busy but it's never free either, it has the perfect mixture of work and breaks. Winter loved her job and it definitely was not mostly because of the girl with long blonde hair.
Okay so maybe it was- but it was just a crush! She's sure that the girl doesn't even know about her existence. She was not in love, no matter how hard Giselle tried to tease her into believing that she was in love- she was not. So tell her why her heart almost stopped when the same girl walked into the café, but now her hair was baby pink with dark pink highlights. It suited her so much, and it made Winter's eyes sparkle with excitement as she made her way over.
Karina walked over to the barista whom she saw almost every day due to her addiction to coffee, and she had to admit- that barista was the cutest girl she had ever seen! The way her cheeks always seemed so pink whenever she'd come over and the way she'd sometimes talk in a pout. Today was different, however, as Karina brought Ningning with her- well, she was forced to by Ningning herself.

Winter instantly noticed the presence of the girl who stood close to her crush- a bit too close if you ask her. However, she still had to work, so she forced a smile, keeping her eyes only on Karina. "What can I get you girls today?" She asked, gritting her teeth when she saw the girl wrap her hands around the pink-haired girl's hand.
