3𝔯𝔡 𝔓𝔬𝔳

The sun shone as a boy and young girl ran across the sand. The boy had short,golden blonde,curly hair with eyes as blue as the sea they stood in. The girl had long,curly hair through it was darker than the boys but still slightly blonde.

The girl looked a good bit younger than the boy, she seemed to be around 3, the boy looked at least 13.

They both played at the shore, the sea was a clear turquoise and the sand a pearly white. The girl laughed as she was splashed with the water. The boy laughed also and picked her up to spin her around. This time she squealed and wrapped her arms and legs around him.

"Artemis, Indigo!" A voice called. The children looked up and the boy, Indigo, held the girl tighter and walked toward the voice and into the forest of palm trees.

"Where are you from?" He asked. "Scarif, but I don't remember a lot." She answered. "What about you?" She asked after a few seconds. "I'm from Tatooine, do you not remember when I said before?" He said. "No, when did you tell me?" She asked."Well I didn't really tell you but when we first met we I showed you the stars and I said that 'I used to look at them all the time on Tatooine'." He finished. "I can't remember that at all y'know." She said and started to laugh. The boy grinned and laughed with her.

When the boy got to the end of the forest there was a small wooden hut. It had a thatched roof and wooden columns. It had a small deck over the sea that had a table and 4 chairs. The house was small but full of memories.

Indigo walked into the house with Artemis on his hip. He frowned as his gaze caught a small green man. He held Artemis tighter and stood up straight.

"What's happening,why is he here?" He asked sounding annoyed. "Indy, honey... he's come for Arti baby." A kind looking woman said. The small girl looked confused at the mention of her name and caught eyes with the green man. "Mama, who's that?" Artemis asked with childlike curiosity. "Arti he's a Jedi, remember we told you about them?" The woman said while walking over to take her. Indigo took a step back and held her tighter.

The woman frowned and stopped. " boy, give your sister to your mother." A man finally snapped. Indigo shook his head. "You said he wouldn't come until she was at least a bit older!"Indigo shouted and started to tear up. Artemis flinched and her brother whispered a sorry. "Indigo we talked about this, you said you wouldn't put up a fight if the Jedi came early, now I am your father just listen to me and give your sister to your mother!" Their father shouted louder this time.

This time Artemis started to cry. The green man looked to the brother and sister and walked over, he reached his hands out for the girl when close enough. Indigo looked down and hesitated but eventually set the girl down in front of the small man after he saw the looks from his mother and father, when she left his arms Indigo started to cry harder.

"Who are you?" Artemis asked. "Yoda I am, young one." Yoda said. "Very special,you are." He added. The brunette looked at her crying brother. "Indy, what does he mean?" She whispered. Instead of answering he started to cry more. "Mama, what's wrong?"

"Honey,Yoda is a Jedi in Coruscant and he is going to bring you there so you can be a Jedi too." Her mother answered. "Can you all come too Mama?" Artemis questioned. "No baby only you." She said through tears. At this Artemis began to cry and jumped into her mother's arms.

After a lot of tears, Artemis finally decided to go with Yoda to Coruscant. She gave her mother, father and Indigo a hug. Indigo helped her pack a small bag and promised that they would see each other again. Artemis could only hope that this was true.

AUTHORS NOTE: This took me ages to publish, sorry I just had had a bit of a writers block and I was quite busy. I hope you liked it and also I picture indigo as Walker scobell🤭( love him) and I'll put a picture below.
