2.10 Melissa Pleads the 5th

"Come on, ladies. Let's go! Get in here with those fabulous tans. Come on. Come on." Abby calls and all the girls walk in, followed by their moms.

Cassie took her usual spot between Maddie and Chloe. Today, she was wearing a bright yellow set with a black covering that she borrowed from Chloe that had designs on it. Her hair was up in a ponytail

"Wow. This mother's association is dwindling to a trio, huh?" Abby points out

"Hollys at work" Melissa says

"And Steph's in New York" Christi answers

"What's she doing in New York?" Abby questions

"Um, she is helping out with a Broadway show" Christi explains and some of the girls gasp. Stephanie was called and asked to help work on the show, Death of a Salesman since she's been working on and for Broadway for years now. So for the next week or two, Cassie's staying with Christi and Chloe. She would stay with Ricky, but he's in Europe for business for the next month

"Oh, okay. That's great" Abby nods before starting pyramid

"First, Nia. Honey, my heart stopped. You guys always think I'm the bad guy, but I don't want any kid, even if it's not my student, to stop. I just don't want it to happen again, and I don't think it should've happened in the first place. You're better than that"

"Moving on, Mackenzie. Mackenzie, there's some things to improve on."

"Next, I have Brooke. I thought you did a great job."

"And next, we have Chloe. Chloe, the solo was excellent. However, the trio was a little shaky."

"Next, Paige. Paige, you worked through the pain in your feet. Even in the dressing room, when you should have had those feet up and icing them, you were doing the dance over and over."

"And next, Maddie. Maddie, I thought you did great in your solo, you looked great in the trio. Good job"

"All right, at the top of the pyramid, Cassie. Cassie, I challenged you to see if you could stay up there for three weeks in a row, and you did. I told you where those judges were, and you never took your eyes off of them. If you can get the judges to look you in the eye and suck them in, then you have them in the palm of your hand."

"Now, each and every one of you are very lucky little girls. You have beautiful homes. You have everything you need. Some kids aren't that lucky. So our group routine is about a homeless child." Abby tells the girls

"There's also going to be two solos this weekend. Cassie, Maddie, you two will get the solos. You better dance your hearts out and dance your butts off." Abby says

"I have a trio. This is a new trio, and I'm gonna start mixing things up. So, Cassie, you're in the trio, Chloe, you're in the trio, and Nia you're in the trio." Abby says and everyone claps. "Nia, you have a lot to prove this week. If you don't keep up with Cassie and Chloe..." She trails off

"All right, now, listen closely, girls and moms. I found out that we will be competing against Candy Apples in Chicago, at company dance. And I'll tell you what. I am not going to lose to Cathy, or Jill, or Kendall."

"Okay, moms. Thank you, you're dismissed. You don't have any jobs to do." Abby dismisses. "Girls, spread apart. Start stretching. Gianna's gonna come in and we are starting this dance right now."

- Four Days To Competition -

"All right, let's go again" Abby tells the girls and they begin to repeat the dance. The dance is a little bit different because instead of Cassie being the lead, it's Maddie. Abby said she just wanted to do something different this week, but Cassie still does have a special part where she does something different than the rest of the girls which is nice
