1.10 Cathy Brings It On!

This week, the team is in Hollywood! This is their final week before their nationals in Lake Tahoe, which means they have to do good

"Finally!" Cassie exclaims as she, the girls and moms step out of the van. She was wearing a sunflower yellow dress that went down to her mid thigh with spaghetti strap sleeves. It had white trim which matched her white sandals. Underneath, she had a white bralette with "kisses" in red around the whole top. Then she had red booty shorts and a red bow

"Let's go, come on, no time to waste!" Abby blows her whistle as all the girls and moms come in

"Ladies, here we are in Los Angeles, California, for the iHollywood national finals. And you are in the city of dreams. There are going to be children that you recognize. The kids that are in movies. The kids that are on television. These kids here, in Los Angeles, audition on a weekly basis. They are pros." Abby begins

"Maddie, Mackenzie, your mom's not here again. We all make choices. She chose to be away instead of being here with you." Abby states. Luckily, Stephanie volunteered to watch you two this week. That means you two get to join in on doing different stuff then the other kids"

Even though Cassie and Maddie are both fierce competitors, they are still great friends. Maddie is Cassie's best friend, well, after Paige and Chloe

"I'm going to move on to our lovely pyramid." Abby tells the girls

"In the bottom row, and I have, Paige and Brooke. You will not be doing solos. You will be in the group number. Now, I've had it out with your mom. She has told me she can find better choreographers. I'm sure she can. This is Los Angeles, this isn't Pittsburgh."

"Next on the bottom, I have Nia, Mackenzie duet." Abby says and we all clap

"Second row. Chloe, you're going to be doing a solo as well as the group routine."

"Then, Maddie. Maddie, you will also be doing a solo"

"And, no surprise, Cassie, you will be doing a solo this week. Now remember, you are undefeated. People are out to get you. You're the one to beat."

"Does everybody understand how big of an opportunity this is? Those judges at iHollywood are going to be people that are in a capacity to hire you. They are the people that choreograph for television and for film. So it's very important that you step on stage like pros. Do you understand?"

"Yes" All the girls nod

"All right, let's go" Abby dismisses. Cassie takes off her dress, revealing her dance set

The girls then started the group routine entitled My Pumps. It's a theatrical jazz dance and of course, Cassie is the lead, like usual.

"All right girls, gather around" Abby calls all the girls closer to her after finishing the group routine

"Girls, I have a big surprise for you. I have a visitor coming to see us and she knows everything about working that stage. Let's all welcome, LaQuifa!" Abby points to the door and LaQuifa comes in to her song. She dances and lip syncs before doing her signature move. The death drop

"Well hi, everyone. My name is Shangela. Today Miss Abby invited me in here to tell you guys a little bit about performance art, about being sickening, and about really working it when you're out there, right?" Laquifa, or Shangela explains

"Maybe I could teach you guys the death drop" Shangela suggests and the girls gasp and nod. She then explains the entire thing. Now, Nia gets to do it at the end of the dance
