A long time ago, before Kirigakure ever saw the light of day, there was a runaway Otsutsuki. This wasn't just any Otsutsuki; he could twist water, blood, and even the vapor in the air into forms he desired.

He was a man on the run, but he had a vision. He believed that his descendants would be powerful, and so he laid the groundwork for what would become the Tsukigami Clan-a legacy unbeknownst to its members.

The name "Tsukigami" means "moon god," a nod to their deep connection with the moon and water. The clan's members inherited their ancestor's kekkei genkai, giving them the incredible power to manipulate water with pinpoint chakra control and hand signs. On nights when the full moon bathed the world in its glow, their abilities reached terrifying heights.

Members of the Tsukigami clan possess striking crimson eyes that shine like rubies in the dark. These eyes aren't just for show; they symbolize the blood moon-a reminder of the clan's past during the violent era of the Bloody Mist. This was where the Tsukigami first made their mark.

The clan traces its roots to a legendary shinobi from the Bloody Mist, a member of the infamous Seven Ninja Swordsmen. The 13th ancestor, Tsukigami Ikkyu, was a force to be reckoned with.

His mastery over water jutsu was unmatched, allowing him to turn the tide of battles single-handedly. Even in his elder years, he remained a living legend, feared and respected by all.

The Tsukigami were known not just for their combat skills, but also for their strategic minds. They could plan complex operations that aligned with the moon's phases, making them invaluable allies during the bloody years of Kiri's Warring States period.

Over time, they became known as respected assassins, their crimson eyes a symbol of both dread and admiration.

As generations passed, the Tsukigami honed their craft. Their kekkei genkai, Mizu Ten'nyō (meaning; Water Manipulation), allowed them to wield water like a weapon. They could transform liquid into ice, creating deadly projectiles or sturdy barriers at will. This versatility made them unpredictable adversaries, striking fear into their enemies.

But the Tsukigami held another dangerous secret: Chietaiso (meaning; Blood Control). If they could draw an opponent's blood, they could manipulate that person from within, turning foes into puppets with a mere flick of their wrist. This ability made them formidable fighters, able to bend the will of their enemies to their own.

Despite their strength, the clan faced a dark turn. At the end of the Fourth Shinobi World War, they began to decline, plagued by a curse from Kaguya Otsutsuki. One by one, clan members fell ill until only one remained-a man who was the last of his bloodline. He married and had a child, you, but the shadows of your parents' fates loom large, their deaths shrouded in mystery.

And so, the legacy of the Tsukigami continues, with you as the final link to a storied past filled with both honor and bloodshed. What will you do with this power? What path will you carve in a world that has forgotten your clan?

The story is just beginning.
