- In the dim light of the laboratory, Mitsuki's eyes fluttered open, and for a moment, all he could perceive was the blurry outline of shadows looming over him.

As his vision cleared, he recognized the three figures approaching-two tall and imposing, and one noticeably shorter. The water in the test tube began to drain, and as it receded, Mitsuki felt the familiar sensation of air filling his lungs.

The glass tube slowly emptied, and he finally saw beyond the confines of his glass prison. The man he recognized from before stepped closer, a hand reaching out toward him.

As class continued, you arrived late, having been wrapped up in the ongoing investigation with Sai. You head to the training grounds, where your classmates were busy timing each other's jumps, leaps, and sprints. The atmosphere was charged with excitement and friendly competition.

"Oh man," you muttered under your breath, spotting your friends.

"I thought I had it!" someone complained, while another student groaned in frustration.

"Are you okay?" you heard a voice call out, and you recognized a few familiar faces among the crowd.

"Yo, [Name]! Late again, aren't we?" Boruto called out, a wide grin plastered on his face as he waved you over.

"Anbu work, I assume?" Denki chimed in, glancing at you with a knowing look.

"Yeah," you replied with a small nod, feeling a bit sheepish about your late arrival.

"Seems you're not wearing your blindfold, [Name]. Are you sure you're okay with it?" Mitsuki asked, concern evident in his tone.

You shook your head. "I'm alright with it," you assured him, trying to sound more confident than you felt.

Just then, a guy from your class approached, grinning like he just won a contest. "That was too bad. You can team up with us next time!" he said, casually placing a hand on Boruto's shoulder. "You'll never pass with Denki."

Denki's expression soured at that, and you couldn't help but glare at the guy, your crimson gaze making him flinch slightly.

Boruto, however, was quick to intervene. "That's not true," he said, shrugging off the guy's hand. "You just don't know about Denki's amazing side."

You let out a small sigh of relief, grateful for Boruto's defense. "Classic Boruto," you muttered under your breath, shaking your head.

"Quiet, everyone!" Shino's voice cut through the chatter, commanding attention. He stood with Konohamaru and a woman you recognized from previous missions.

"For this practice assignment... everyone fails!" Shino announced, holding up a blue clipboard as if it were a trophy.

"Huh?!" Confused murmurs rippled through the crowd.
