— You were feeling a whirlwind of nerves as you stood outside the still-destroyed school. Retiring from your Anbu career had been a tough decision, but Naruto insisted it was for the best.

He wanted you to take part in the Academy, to help with the ongoing ghost incident, and, of course, to keep an eye on his son, Boruto. But really—you were not some babysitter! You were trained for stealth missions, not elementary school antics.

As you surveyed the scene, you noticed the students sprawled out on the grass, their murmurs blending into the rustling leaves of the nearby trees.

In front of them stood Shino, who was about to kick off today’s lesson. He turned to the whiteboard, his brow furrowed in concentration as he began to write.

"Seems everyone's here today. Well, I'm going to explain today's lesson," he announced, his voice steady. You could hear the collective shuffle of students as they leaned forward, curious about what Shino would say next.

Boruto leaned over to Shikadai, his eyes glinting with mischief. "Isn't there any way to excuse ourselves? At this rate, we’ll let another ghost slip through our fingers," he whispered, trying to mask his voice behind his textbook.

Shikadai, ever the realist, shot him a look. "But we can’t fake any more absences!" he replied, annoyance lacing his tone.

Shino turned back to the class, and you caught a glimpse of the whiteboard, now filled with the phrase: "workplace experience." The students exchanged puzzled glances.

“Workplace experience?” Iwabe blurted out, leaning forward in his seat, clearly intrigued.

"People in all sorts of occupations support our daily lives," Shino explained, pacing slowly between the desks, his hands tucked into his pockets. "For this lesson, you’ll be learning hands-on about various jobs."

You could see excitement bloom in the students as they began brainstorming ideas. "How about we visit a fireworks factory?" Iwabe suggested, wrapping an arm around Denki, who looked alarmed.

"That's too dangerous!" Denki stammered, his voice shaking.

Metal piped up next, his face lighting up with enthusiasm. "Come with me to a fire station, Inojin! That’s where firefighters work!" He raised his fist in excitement, eyes sparkling as he looked at Inojin, who looked utterly bewildered.

"Huh? Why me?" Inojin asked, his wide eyes darting between his friends.

Cho-Cho chimed in dreamily, "A nail salon would be nice... but I can’t pass up the thought of a meat bun factory!" She sighed, her palms resting on her cheeks, lost in fantasy.
