Forgotten memories (rewritten)

Chapter 2: The Unknown Place

There was a portal in the nearest forest in the heaven. That was useful because he couldn't use his wings for flying. The big white wings just look like a decoration on him. He never can use that to fly, truthfully he was never able to move well enough to fly. If he wants, he can just glide on the wind.

Soon, he arrived at the white portal. It was covered with golden decorations. Around the portal were white marble columns. He sighed and looked at the portal.

"They never find me on the earth." says and finally makes his last step to heaven.

He crossed over to the other side of the portal and ended up in a place similar to his home. Just the same trees and forest, that made it similar; but it was beautiful. He looks around in that place. There were a lot of trees and some birds were flying in the blue sky. The trees were colorful and some of the leaves were on the ground. When he made his few steps into the Earth, an orange leaf fell on the top of his head; The sun was at the top of the light blue sky, which meant it was noon. It was all strange to the boy. Eirix is walking in the forest. He brushed his hair aside in front of his right eye, behind his ear. He finally doesn't have to cover his eyes. He was free. In an unknown place. A few minutes later, he hears some noises which approach him. It sounds like a tree branch cracking. The sound echoed between the trees. It and the cold wind made his body shake. The sounds came from above, so Eirix looked up but saw nothing. He hears a loud crack, and something falls. He noticed a human's silhouette; he decided to run towards him. Something made him run closer, but he didn't know why. Maybe he wants to help. The angel forms a blade around his hand with his ability to protect himself, if he needs to. He was still not sure who or what he saw; he knew what could live in the human forest. He just walked closer to the place where the sound from. He clenched his fists and some stars appeared around his hand. Soon, he noticed a boy who was sitting on the ground. He held his head and groaned slightly. Some leaves fell with him and a few of them fell on the boy's head. He wanted to help him, but he was still unsure about that boy. The stranger noticed the angel boy and he seemed scared too. Eirix watched every part of him. His dark blue hair hung in his eyes, so first he couldn't see his eyes, but two black lines were still visible under his eyes. There were some white strands in his hair. The angel thought it was just the highlight of his hair, but not it was his real hair. He knew how the normal people looked like, but that boy was different. The lines under his eyes, maybe it's just makeup. He read in the book about normal people's appearance, but he never read something like that.

He looked up in the angel's eyes. His eyes were crimson purple. It was noticeable, but he found it beautiful, but it just gave one more doubt about his strange appearance. His expression was cold and emotionless, which scared the boy a little. Eirix can't help but feel something warmth to him.

They watched each other for a few minutes, they didn't say anything, just looked into their eyes without even any reaction. Eirix finally gathered his courage and spoke up.

"Who are you?" he asks in a lowered voice.

"I'm Nayuta... And who are you?" He shook his head and made the leaves fall from his head. The situation made him careful about that, he didn't know what the angel could do. He lets out a soft sigh. "You don't understand what I'm saying?" asked, but he kept his voice calm and nice. He hides how curious about the creature who's standing in front of him.

"I do... I'm Eirix... and what are you doing here?"

"I could ask the same," he said and showed a soft smirk to the boy.

"I asked first, so tell me, Nayuta... What are you doing here?" he said.

"You're right, so my master is a doll maker and he needs some ingredients for his dolls," he said while he stood up. "It's getting dark... So you better come with me if you don't want to die... and don't worry... I won't hurt you."
