A grizzled vendor watched Isabella with a glint in his eye. 'The mark of the dragon... rare to see it,' he murmured. Isabella froze, caught off guard. Before she could question him, he simply smiled. 'Some destinies are carved in blood, child,' he added, cryptically, and turned back to his wares."
