WEARING A RED VEST, a brown coat, and carrying a briefcase in his right hand, Y/N stepped into his classroom.

The students who attended that day were already inside, talking amongst themselves, with some introverted kids sitting alone and on their smartphones and iPods.

"Good morning, class." Y/N greeted as he put his stuff on the desk.

Some students replied, "Good morning, Mr. L/N."

"So, is everyone excited about today's trip?"

Y/N asked that with a beaming smile and with a lot of excitement

Y/N asked that with a beaming smile and with a lot of excitement. There were some murmurs but a couple of eager students responded with a yeah. The teacher poked fun at the disengagement.

"It might not sound exciting...but we'll make the best of it," Y/N said. "With me, nothing's ever boring, right? I mean, none of you have flunked or asked to switch classes, so I must be doing a good job."

There was a collective agreement. Y/N was well respected and known as a rather engaging and fun teacher at the school.

"So, let's look forward to this." Y/N added as he leaned on his desk.

"You know what would've been fun?" A student asked. "Going to Stark Expo earlier this year. Why couldn't we have had that trip last semester?"

His classmate replied, "And what? Get blown up by those HAMMER drones?"

"Iron Man was there, bro. I would've been fine."

"Bullshit. With your slow ass, I don't think so."

"Maurice," Y/N said with a chuckle. "Language."

"Sorry." He apologized.

Y/N nodded and looked at his students, adjusting his glasses. He moved to the front of his desk, sat on the edge, and crossed his arms.

"Maybe the Stark Expo could be possible. Could be your senior trip at the end of the semester. I'll bring it up, but it's up to the school."

Y/N reached for the clipboard nearby. He picked it up and looked at it.

"Now, before we start, a few of you still need to turn in the permission slips for the trip." He looked through the names. "Ah. Mr. Harkless?"

Maurice, who often went by Moe, got up and had the slip in his hand. He went over and handed it to the teacher.

"Finally found it. It was in my gym locker. I must've left it in there after the game yesterday."

"I understand, Moe. Thank you."

The young man sat back down.

"Wilson?" Y/N called out.

There was no response. He looked up at the rest of the class and called out again.
