Chapter 19 What happened

(Charlie quickly gets up and summons her trident and gets in an attacking stance)

Charlie:what the hell do you want?(She asked sternly)

Vox:oh calm down I'm not here to fight you, I'm here to talk

Emily:*draws her sword* we have nothing to talk about (she says coldly)

Vox:listen *his eye goes hypnotic* I know alastor survived if you bring him to me you have my word I won't hurt any of you

Emily:the only problem with that is alastor is one of us so that's not gonna happen

Vox:do you fools even know who you're living with?

Charlie:yes we do, we know he isn't really the best soul down here we know that he's done terrible things, but he has done nothing but support the hotel and our cause and for that I owe him everything!

Vox:oh so you don't know? Did you ever think how odd it is that your mother and alastor was gone for seven years?

Charlie:i-i never thought about it

Vox:I hate to break it to you princess but the only reason he's helping you is because your mother owns his soul, otherwise he could care less about any of you

Emily:no, that can't be true, the seven year absence could've been a coincidence

Charlie:and why would we trust a word your saying?

(Vox snaps his finger and a screen appears beside him and it shows camera footage from last year in some alleyway)

Lilith:I'm only letting you go because I need someone as powerful as you to watch over my daughter while I handle things up here, and if you try anything I will tear you apart understand

Alastor:of course Lilith you have my word

(Lilith disappears into a portal and alastor walks off but before disappearing out of view he destroys the camera)

Vox:now you understand hes not to be trusted

Charlie:I-i can't believe it

Emily:what did he do to you?

Vox:pardon?

Emily:what did alastor do to you that makes you hate him so much?

Vox: and why would I spill my guts to you?

Emily: because if you don't tell me i-i

Vox:calm down, I'll tell you, when we first met we became friends instantly we both done terrible things in life and we both been through allot we both had our own business everything was great and I genuinely thought I had a true friend in this hellhole so one day I finally decided to ask him if he would want to join my company and collaborate with me, he laughed in my face and said

Alastor:do you think even for a second I'd get involved with something as mediocre as a video podcast? Come on vox you know me well enough to know that this face is made for a radio nothing more nothing less

Vox:oh come on alastor radio is yesterday we need to look to the future, we can be the most powerful demons in hell

Vox:what the fuck man I thought we were friends what's your deal?
