"Mack this isn't the track! Woohoo!" Nick yells as I whip his rental car through downtown Montreal.

I will admit, I am a little tipsy right now.

But what's the fun in practicing safe driving? Hell, I haven't driven safely since my driver's licence test when I was sixteen.

"Alright Mack, you're going to make a right up here into this parking garage." Nick says.

I pull the car into the garage.

"So this uh, night club. Is it fancy, crazy, like are you gonna tell me anything about it?" I ask.

"No dude! Just keep an open mind. As long as you don't have any plans for tomorrow, you'll be fine!"

I'll be god damn fine.

I climb out of the car, and make my way over to the entrance.

Nick comes running up behind me.

"Dude you look so stressed out! This will definitely fix all of that!"

He says while motioning his hand toward the door.

Nick walks up to the door man and slips him a 20, and we both got access to the club.

I get flash banged with light, smoke and music as I walk into an immediate dance floor.

I look at Nick, who is smiling hugely and he motions us over to the bar.

He slides into a seat at the bar, and calls for a bartender.

He puts his hand on my shoulder and says to the bartender, "Hey Jose. Come give my friend something strong here. He needs it."

Jose looks at me and gives me a wink.

"Man, do you know everyone here?" I ask.

"You could say I'm a.. regular." He continues, "But forget that! Let's go dance, go find a girl. Go forget about everyone."

I look back towards the bar, and the bartender is coming over with a drink, that literally only smells like vodka.

Guess I should enjoy it.

time skip

I'm essentially deaf, from the pounding bass music I've been hearing for the past hour.

I feel a tap on my shoulder, "Hey, I see two girls over there. Two man?" I hear Nick say with a smirk on his face. Lots of alcohol.

I nod, and walk over with him. "Follow my lead." He says and winks.

I take a sip of my drink.

I definitely don't need more alcohol, I've already had too much.

Nick walks up to these two girls, and acts like he's continuing with his conversation, "So anyways, you're into cars Veronica?" He asks the girl on the right.

"Yeah," She practically yells over the speakers of the club. "My dad is really into the them, so it was kind of natural."

She looks at me and I smile, knowing what's coming next.

Nick starts, "Well my friend here, actually is a motorsport racer." He says slyly.

I look over at him and smile, seeing the girls eyes light up.
