Princess Layali (lay-ah-lee) - Small black and tan female with distinct white patches and amber eyes. Has a floppy left ear. Wears a crown of African violets.
King Mosi (moh-see) - Large male with black, tan and white fur and amber eyes. Has a few rips in his ears. Has arthritis, but doesn't show it much. Layali's father.
Queen Zola (zoh-la) - Undersized female with light tan, black and white markings and light amber eyes. Layali's mother. Wears a crown of white daisies.
King Duna (doo-nuh) - Male with brown, dark brown and white markings and amber eyes. Has a ripped left ear and a scarred left shoulder. Mosi's brother. Has no mate or children.

Tau (tau) - Heavyset transgender male with pale tan, brown and white markings and deep brown eyes. Has thick fur around his neck resembling a lion's mane and scars above left eye. Former dispersal and father to Imani.
Imani (ee-mah-nee) - Female with light tan, black and white markings and light amber eyes.
Rangi (ran-gee) - Thick-furred tan, brown and white female with light amber eyes. Mother to Mahiri and Rudo. Former dispersal.
Mahiri (ma-heer-ee) - Small, thick-furred female with brown, dark brown and white markings and amber eyes.
Rudo (roo-doh) - Nonbinary tan, dark brown and white dog with dark amber eyes.

Royal family
Queen Xenia (zee-nee-yah) - Older female with light tan, brown and mostly white fur. Deep amber eyes. The healer of the pack, often wears dried herbs around her neck.
King Barke (bar-kay) - Older male with dark tan, brown, and white markings. Has an overbite, ripped ears, and scars on his left hind leg due to an old injury. Wears a necklace made of sharpened bones.
Princess Feoria (fay-oh-ree-ya) - Small, stocky female with tan, chocolate and white markings, a white chest and golden eyes. Healer in training.
Prince Kwasi (kwah-see) - Powerful, muscular male with tan, chocolate and white markings. He has an overbite, leaving a few of his top fangs poking out, and deep amber eyes. Wears a necklace made of sharpened bones.
Royal Amare (ah-mah-ray) - Nonbinary royal with tan, chocolate and white markings and amber eyes. Has a torn right ear. Wears a necklace made of sharpened bones.

Zain (zayn) - Tall, thick-furred male with brown, dark brown and white markings and deep umber eyes. Has a white blaze on the bridge of his muzzle and a dark-tipped tail. Zahra's brother and former wanderer.
Zahra (zah-rah) - Tall, skinny female with brown, dark brown and white markings and deep umber eyes. Has a dark-tipped tail. Zain's sister and former wanderer.
Kichea (key-cheh-ya) - Dainty female with contrasting light and dark markings. The right side of her face is scarred, where she is missing an eye and most of her ear. Her remaining eye is soft hazel.
Cyrah (see-rah) - Female with contrasting light and dark markings and light amber eyes. Mother to Kichea, Bahati, Jabir, and Cada; foster mother to Zahra and Zain. Former dispersal, now resides in the nursery.
Mbali (m-ball-ee) - Thick-furred, heavyset male with tan, chocolate and white markings, deep amber eyes and a shredded left ear. Cyrah's current mate and former dispersal.
Mwanga (mw-ahn-gah) - Female with dark chocolate, brown and white markings and brown eyes. Has a torn right ear. Mother to Amaryllis and Giza. Former dispersal.
Amaryllis (ahm-ah-rill-is) - Tall, nonbinary dog with light tan, asymmetrical black and white markings and brown eyes. Has a torn right ear and light scars on their muzzle.
Giza (gee-zuh) - Mostly black male with light tan markings, light brown eyes and an underbite.
Nusura (noo-soo-rah) - Female with tan, black and white markings and amber eyes. Missing front left foreleg due to injury. Former dispersal.
Wanderers
Shani (shah-nee) - Tall, short-furred female with contrasting light tan, black and white markings and hazel eyes. Wears a flower around her ear. A healer and Jabari's mate.
Jabari (jah-bah-ree) - Skinny male with brown, black and white markings and yellow eyes. Has distinct white markings around eyes, a solid black tail and a shredded right ear. Wears a radio collar due to an encounter with humans. Shani's mate.
Ode (oh-day) - Tall, skinny female with brown, dark brown and white markings and deep umber eyes. Has ripped ears and scars along her face.
