The moment Johnny pulled back from the kiss, your heart was still racing, the intensity of it leaving your mind swirling. You barely had time to process what had just happened before a sharp voice shattered the moment.
"What the hell is this?!"
You turned around, your stomach dropping when you saw her—Ali, standing just a few feet away. Her eyes were wide with a mix of shock and fury, hands clenched tightly at her sides. Her gaze darted between you and Johnny, the realization hitting her hard.
Johnny didn't even flinch. He didn't step back, didn't act guilty. If anything, his expression stayed as cool and unbothered as ever. "Ali—"
"I knew something was going on!" Ali cut him off, her voice shaking with anger as she took a few steps toward you.
"Ali," Johnny muttered, his voice flat, like her presence didn't faze him in the slightest.
Ali wasn't having it, her body stiff with anger. "You," she spat, her eyes burning into yours. "I knew you were after him! You've been sneaking around Johnny for weeks, haven't you?"
Your heart was pounding, but not with guilt—no, this was anger. She had no right to talk to you like this. You straightened up, stepping closer to her, not willing to back down.
"It's not like you own him, Ali," you shot back, your voice sharp. "You two are done. Why does it even matter to you?"
"It matters," she snarled, getting up in your face, "because you think you can just come in and take him like you're better than me or something."
"I'm not taking anyone," you replied coldly. "Maybe if you weren't so obsessed with holding onto something that's already over, you'd realize that."
That hit a nerve. Ali's face twisted in anger, and without warning, she shoved you hard in the shoulder. "You're such a liar!" she yelled. "You've been waiting for this, haven't you?"
Before you could even think, you shoved her right back, harder. The tension between you two snapped like a rubber band. "Yeah, I have, Ali," you said, your voice rising, your frustration boiling over. "Because you don't deserve him!"
she shoved you hard, sending you a few steps back. Instinct kicked in, and you immediately planted your feet, staying grounded and ready. You'd trained with Cobra Kai, and if Ali wanted to start something, she was about to realize she'd messed with the wrong person.
Ali lunged forward again, her hands reaching for you, but this time, you dodged to the side, twisting her arm in a controlled grip as you stepped out of her path. She gasped, pulling her arm free with a furious glare.
Johnny's relaxed expression shifted slightly, a flicker of concern crossing his face. "Hey, Ali—"
But she was too far gone. She came at you again, her movements fueled by anger rather than skill, and you blocked her clumsy punches with ease, sidestepping her attacks one after another. The Cobra Kais, now gathered around, started to laugh, clearly entertained by the spectacle.
"Come on, Ali," Tommy snickered. "She's wiping the floor with you!"
Johnny, still standing off to the side, just watched a bit worried.
"Johnny, man, you gonna stop them?" Tommy called out with a grin.
Johnny shrugged, "Man should I step in? (Y/n) will definitely win but.."
Bobby snorted. "This is priceless. Should've known better than to pick a fight with a Cobra"
Ali's face flushed red, the taunts only fueling her frustration. She swung wide, her balance off, and you took the opportunity to sweep her leg, sending her stumbling backward. She caught herself before she fell, but the look in her eyes told you she was humiliated.
You backed up slightly, hoping that would end things, but Ali snarled, charging at you again. This time, her wild punch grazed your cheek, and before you knew it, the fight had escalated. You dropped into a defensive stance, blocking her next swing and throwing her off balance. With a swift movement, you hooked her arm and spun her, pinning her in place.
She gasped, trying to pull free, and you released her with a gentle shove. She stumbled back, clutching her arm and glaring at you. Her breathing was heavy, and her cheeks were flushed with embarrassment. Johnny stepped forward, and you caught the glint of worry in his eyes as he glanced at you.
"You good?" he asked quietly, his voice laced with an unfamiliar concern.
You nodded, brushing it off, but Johnny's eyes lingered on you for a moment, his jaw clenched as he shot a look at Ali.
Ali let out a bitter laugh, her voice dripping with anger. "Enjoy it while you can," she spat, her voice shaky. "He'll drop you just like he dropped me."
Johnny cut her off, his voice cold. "Ali, enough." He took a step toward her, his tone leaving no room for argument. "We're done."
Ali's face twisted, her final thread of control snapping. She glared at you both one last time before storming off.
The Cobra Kais, who'd watched the whole scene with grins on their faces, stepped closer. Bobby slapped Johnny on the back, laughing. "Man, that was intense! Your girl can throw down, Johnny."
Johnny glanced at you, his expression softening as he finally allowed a smirk to creep onto his face. "Guess she can." But there was something in his eyes—a pride, maybe, and something else he was holding back. Something unspoken.
You felt a surge of energy, a sense of control you hadn't felt before. This wasn't over, but for now, you'd come out on top.
