Beep...Beep...Beep

Beep!!-

The clock at the top of the table alarmed at exactly 7 a.m. to wake up the one who was sleeping. However, the clock was only met by a slam from a hand, stopping its rhythm of noises. The one who slammed it only groaned tiredly.

"What should I do? What should I do?" Oscar muttered his voice shaking in fear.

Last night, his supposed regular life turned upside down when he was blindfolded and blackmailed by a criminal organization. His mind tried to contemplate what he should do from now on, knowing that he was forcibly hired to work by the people he was warned of.

Leaving his soft and comfortable bed, he slowly walked to his bathroom to wash his face. Upon seeing himself in the mirror he saw his restless eyes and haggard face as if he had not slept today. How would he? Being thrown to the street after being kidnapped and threatened by them kept him awake for the whole night.

Washing off the tiredness from his face, he looked in the mirror and then at his phone. He thought he would call the police about what had happened to him.

"...."

However, he suddenly recalled what that woman said after being pressured into agreeing to her proposal.

~~~
"Great...I don't want to kill someone at this hour. Thanks for saving me the trouble." Chloe said while clapping with her gloved hands.
She then stood up from her chair and took off her gloves as she hummed a tune. Oscar stares at her, still scared but relieved he would not be killed.
"But don't expect that you're off the hook yet, Mr. Dillon." She suddenly turned her head and looked at Oscar who shivered seeing her mischievous grin.
She then pulled his tie until he was near her face. Oscar stares in shock at her blue eyes shimmering at the dimply light room they are in.
"You will be working with us while you pay your debt and be a spy at that publication company, got it~?" she said as she stared into his eyes.
The young man could only nod rapidly due to him still being scared and afraid.
"Good boy~." She then leaned her head near his ear and whispered. "If you tell anyone about this...well a punishment is an order."
A cold shiver went through his body after those words. Seconds later he suddenly felt dizzy as his eyes slowly closed.
~~~

He remembered what the woman said and hesitated to reach for his phone. He slumped as tears were almost coming out of his eyes.

*WHIMPERED* "Why is this happening to me." He said as he was giving up on how he would escape from the organization.

He slowly stood up once more and walked to his balcony. Upon the balcony, he stared at the tall building before looking to the sky. Remembering the promise he made to his parents to help them with their finances he clenched his fist as he recomposed himself and assured he would survive his current circumstance.

"I can do this." He whispered before looking down at his balcony. "..."

His newfound confidence quickly disappeared as he saw a block car park across the street. He remembered it was the same vehicle he had vividly seen before being thrown out to the street.

"Maybe I can't," he said before returning inside.
