- After the show -
You, Scott, Wallace, Ramona, Envy, and Todd now stood out in the rain. It was time to say goodbye to one another, as things were getting late.
"I guess I'll go home." Envy said. "I'm just gonna go."
"I'm... I'm sorry about stuff..." Scott apologized awkwardly.
"I know. Me too." Envy replied, wiping something off her face with the hoodie she wore.
"That used to be mine. Remember?" Scott asked.
"What? Oh, the sweater." Envy said as she looked down at the hoodie. "...Yeah, I guess I stole it. You want it back? Should I take it off?"
"No!" Scott exclaimed before calming back down. "Just... uh... as long as you're still using it, right?"
"...I guess." Envy then looked at you. "And Y/N." She continued. "I... thanks for saving me earlier."
"Well, you already thanked me, so no need to repeat yourself." You smirked.
"I know, which is why I want to tell you something." Envy then made a gesture for you to lean closer.
"Yeah, what is it-" You whispered, but to your surprise...
She kissed you. Right on the cheek. It took a moment for your brain to register the situation, and then to process the action. You were stunned.
"So... yeah... savor it. I'm gone." Envy said awkwardly, and then entered on the backseat of a taxi. "Airport."
"Y-yeah..." You were still frozen in shock, red as Envy's hair. You then slowly raised a hand to where she kissed you.
"See you next time." Envy smiled, before waving as the taxi drove away.
"I... I guess that's it... I was kind of hoping for some kind of closure, or, you know, a hug or something..." Scott said sadly, staring at the distance before sighing. "I would have settled for an 'I like you haircut, Scott'..."
"Good riddance to bad rubbish, I always say!" Wallace smiled. "Y/N definitely got some closure, though."
"Sh-shut up." You pouted, blushing furiously.
"Come on, dude. Let Scott have his slightly tragic moment." Ramona chimed in. "Though, looks like someone's gonna miss her."
"Hu-huh?!" You blushed harder as Ramona and Wallace smirked. "I-I'm not! Wh-why would you- I'm not- stop looking at me like that! Ugh!"
"Hey, Y/N." Todd spoke, snapping you back to reality again.
"Hm? What is it?" You asked, still a little embarrassed.
"You... Thank you for vouching for me back at Lee's. I appreciate it." Todd thanked.
"Uh... don't mention it." You nodded, smiling a little. "I told you, you've got a good heart. Just be the best rock star you can be, and ask the chefs what they put in their gelatos before eating them. Remember-"
"Soy milk and aquafaba. Right." Todd finished, grinning. "I'll keep that in mind."
"That's what I like to hear." You grinned, patting his shoulder.
"I'm off, then. See you another time, Rowe." Todd nodded.
"Later, Todd. Stay cool." You waved him farewell. "So, are we all good? Scott?"
"Yeah, I'm all good." Scott sighed.
"Great! Time for lunch!" Ramona exclaimed.
"The world loves you, Scott and Wyenn, look! The sun's coming out!" Wallace pointed up, and true enough, the rain stopped, and the sun was up and bright.
"Four evil ex-boyfriends left and you'll officially be my girlfriend?" Scott asked.
"Huh? What? Oh, three or four, yeah. Or maybe five." Ramona replied.
"Piece of cake." Scott nodded.
"Here's to the future." You pretended to hold a glass and toast.
"To the future!" Wallace cheered, clinking another fake glass.
"I don't know about you guys, but I'm sure ready for the new season of sun, beach hangouts, and the smell of the waves." You grinned. "Better known as that summer feeling."
