Sehun's POV

I trailed back to my seat and slid back down. I looked across to see Hee-Young staring me down. I gave her a nod. Her expression didn't change. She nodded and turned back to the others.

I didn't get the response I wanted exactly from her, but I got her tp accept me as a friend. I can at least make sure she's happy.

"You get it?" Tao asked from across the table. I nodded stiffly.

"It was something else though. " I said quietly.

"What was?" Jongin asked. I could still feel my heart beating out of my chest.

I turned towards him and furrowed my eyebrows. "She's with Leo now. " I said softly. He looked confused and then turned back forward.

"Wait really?" He asked aloud. "Are you sure she wasn't just lying to you? Maybe to get you away or something. " Jongin said. "I didn't think he would actually go for her. "

"Then you don't know him." I muttered. He was always there. I grew a real hate for him. Maybe I should confirm it. I turned to Kyungsoo.

"Can I borrow your phone?" I asked. Worry was biting at me in every direction. I shifted in my seat. He pulled his phone out with a raised eyebrow.

"Why?" He asked handing it over.

"I need to make sure of something. " I said as I scrolled through his contacts. I got to the right contact.

To Hyunsik
Is there something going on between Leo and Jessie?

I sent the message quickly and scanned the area for their table. They were at the corner. Next to Leo's. My eyes shifted to him. He was smiling, looking to Haekyeon and then to the stage.

I turned back to Hyunsik, who had his phone out. He was looking at the message. Eunkwang was sitting next to him. He looked at his screen and then looked up in confusion.

Eunkwang looked over to our table and then met my eyes. His eyes widened. He elbowed Hyunsik. Hyunsik looked up in confusion. Eunkwang whispered something and then my phone vibrated.

From Hyunsik
There is nothing you could do Sehun, leave her alone. They're happy.

My expression sank. No. I gave the phone back to Kyungsoo. He took a look at the messages. I couldn't meet his eyes.

This can't be the end. She can't really be with him. It can't be. This can't be over. This can't.

"Sehuna, are you okay?" Kyungsoo asked. I gripped the edge of the table as anger ripped through me. It can't.

I got up abruptly. I kept my eyes down. Jongin grabbed my hand, but I tossed it off.

"I need to do something. " I said and walked off. She can't be with him. I'm not going to let that happen. Not after everything, it can't be him. I thought she was lying.

"Sehun!" I heard Suho yell. I ignored him and ran to the backstage.

People were running all around. I found her getting touched up. She wouldn't date him. She wouldn't. Dae wasn't around.

I could feel the tension in my back. I walked over and grabbed her wrist. I pulled her out. Her eyes were wide as she snapped her eyes up. She pulled her arm out of my hold.

"What are you doing?" She squeaked. Her cheeks were a bright red.

"Are you with him?" I asked. My voice cracked. Her eyes widened even more. I could see her bottom lip quivering. She is. My god, she is. "Are you really?"I asked again.
