~7 months later~

"Haha, I'll see you later, Dean." I said, smiling at my friend.

"Hey, Jess. " Dean called my name and I turned back to him with a lifted eyebrow.

Dean was someone I met at work. I had taken up a job at a bakery two months after coming back to Boston. I didn't need the money, I just needed something to do.

When I had taken the job, Dean had discovered who I was pretty quickly. He had a little sister that was into kpop, he had my album.

Dean had found it and saw my face. He brought it and confronted me the next day. I didn't lie to him. And he didn't care for my title, I was just a friend to him.

"Yeah?" I asked. Using English again had become natural.

"Wanna come to dinner tonight at my place with a couple of people I know? I know you still haven't made any friends." he said. I pursed my lips.

"I do have friends. " I told him in response. He chuckled.

"Friends that don't want a free ride on your money or that isn't famous idol across the ocean. " he clarified. I chuckled. I pulled my hair back.

"Do they know I'm an idol?" I asked.

"Of course. " he laughed. "The first thing I did when I found out was bragged to everyone I knew that I knew a celebrity. I mean not someone they know but you know. " he said and I glared.

"Excuse me but I'm well known." I said in response.

"More like wanted. " he spiked his eyebrows up playfully. "So you're coming right?" He asked. I rolled my eyes.

"Can't I just wallow up in my apartment?" I asked in return.

"No. " he replied and gave me a half smile. I sighed.

"Fine. " I gave in. He smiled that sickly sweet smile and I went home.

I opened the door to my apartment. Baka ran to the door as soon as I opened it. I smiled in response to her. She had gotten much bigger since I got her. I sent pictures occasionally to people.

I haven't touched any social media site in so long. I really missed interacting with the fans. I'm sure I lost a lot of fans with my disappearance.

I closed the door behind me.

I looked to the side. I had a bunch of framed photos. I went over and dropped my keys on the table. The first one was of Leo and I. We took it the first time he came to America it was a month after I moved here.

I smiled softly at the photo. I haven't seen him in three months. We barely talk anymore, the time difference and his schedule get in the way.

I sighed and turned my eyes to the next one. It was Dae, Hyuna and I. We all met up in Tokyo. Dae was filming a drama during the time and Hyuna went with him for support.

They started dating a couple months back. She told me after her comeback that he started getting really protective over her and she liked it.

I fully support it. They look so happy together.

I had two other photos.

An old Polaroid I had framed that I took with my sister predebut. She wrote Saranghae on the bottom of it.

The other was a group photo of all of us the last time we all got together. I smiled. I had more frames hanging on the wall. I had a picture of a group photo of a JinHai before debut. I had pictures of Vixx, EXO. I'm not going to ignore my past any longer.

Its just who I am.

When I got to his apartment, his friends were awkward at first. One of his friends Lilly was really interested in my life. She was a kpop fan.

"I have your albums. " she said with a smile. "So how was living there?" She asked. I brought my eyes up from my lap.

"fine, I guess. I didn't enjoy it that much. My life was really busy. " I answered.

"Thank god you're taking a break. " Dean laughed.

"Involuntarily. " I responded. He waved me off.

"You like it here. Why don't you stay?" He said bringing his eyes back to me.

"What do you mean? You're going back?" A man named Ryan asked. I looked over and nodded.

"I'm on Hiatus right now. " I responded.

"Why? Get in a scandal?" Another one of his female friends joked around. She was friendly.

"She did. " Dean laughed. "Screwed around with two idols. " I snapped my eyes to him with a glare. He smiled.

"What really?" The same girl asked.

"I knew it!" Lily exclaimed.

"I was in a fully committed relationship okay?" I said with a laugh. "My ex just couldn't handle it. " I huffed.

"And your ex being Oh Sehun. " Lily giggled.

"Whose that?" Ryan asked.

Dean replied to it. "Just a hotshot. " he said in between bites. I rolled my eyes. Overall I made plans with Lilly and Shay, the other girl. I planned to see them all again.

When I got home, I got a call from Luhan. I talked to him weekly. He was always interested with my life as I was with his, and we grew closer through our calls.

"Hey, whats up?" I asked in mandarin.

"Nothing, I'm bored. " he replied.

"Yeah, and you think I can fix that?" I asked with a chuckle.

"Absolutely. " he replied. "Guess what?" He asked. I dropped my bag down and stretched my arms out.

"You're gay." I replied.

"Sadly, I'm not. " he sighed exaggeratedly.

"Think about how much money you can make on boy on boy porn. Lu, I would even buy it. " I said with a chuckle.

"I would be so rich. " he sighed. "Too bad I'm already a Chinese prince." He flaunted.

"More like a princess. " I teased. I dropped my hand to Baka and shook my hands through her fur. I went to grab her leash.

"Ah, shut up! Do you want to hear the news or not?" He asked.

"Tell me everything." I gushed like a teenage girl and then rolled my eyes. I opened the front door again.

"Don't be sassy, it'll get you nowhere. " he said sighing. "But let's see that Sang girl is in a scandal, Uniq is releasing a new album." He began.

"Sang's in a scandal?" I asked. I left the apartment building. Baka took small strides by me.

"Yeah, drug scandal thing. Something about being in a drug ring or something. They think she's leaving JinHai." Luhan said. "But forget that I have bigger news, young grasshopper."

"And what's that?" I asked.

"Our little Yifan has a girlfriend. " my eyes widened.

"No, what? That can't be. I talked to him yesterday, he said nothing. " I said aloud. I pulled my hair back as we went down the small street.

"Yeah, the bitch even kept it a secret from me. She's korean. Her name is Bae." He replied.

"I can't believe this. " I said starstruck.

"I know. She's really sassy though, next time you come to China we should all go out. " he said and I nodded to myself.

"Absolutely. " I said in response.

"Remember I'm coming next month, okay?" He asked and I nodded again. When I got home I added two lines onto a song, watched a couple of videos and endulged myself in the music of my old life.
