Leo and I walked into Cube on Monday. I got the call the previous night for both of us to be there. Jellyfish representatives would be in the building as well. I already knew what this was about.

Leo held tight onto my hand as I leant on his shoulder. My fingers entwining with his with a sigh. I'm really going to miss him. I felt his lips briefly touch the top of my hair.

I brought my eyes up. He had his eyes on the ground again. His cheeks tinted red in contrast to the light bruising on his face. It has gotten slightly better. I sighed.

We didn't wait long. They took us into the office as soon as they saw us. There were three people waiting for us in the room. They gestured for us to take a seat.

Leo didn't let go of my hand. He only held tighter.

The guy behind the chair sighed. I forget his name but he was close to the CEO.

"I guess you know why you're here. " the man said and briefly glanced away. "We need to find a way to handle this." He said.

The woman next to him spoke up. I turned my eyes to her. "Jellyfish entertainment has decided to promote just like they had before. " she said. The woman tilted her head down slightly. "Vixx needs you as a vocal. We're sure there wouldn't be any real threats but we are suspending you from the stage for at least two weeks. " She said to Leo. He nodded.

"Fine. " he shrugged.

"Treat it as a vacation. " the woman replied one last time. Leo nodded. I don't think he really cared about the suspension. The man at the desk shifted.

"One year. " my eyes widened.

"What? I was concerned it was only going to be a couple of months. " I choked out.

"What?" Leo asked confused between us. They can't put us down for that long.

The man looked from Leo to me. "We're going to put their duo on hiatus. Dae will go into acting and we'll see if we can work on his solo career, Jessie- you have a couple of choices actually. " he said. I tightened my grip on his hand. "You can go back to America, take a break, write an album, we'll even think about an American debut. Or you can go to China, set up a studio for the time being. There just can't be news of you for sometime. "

"A year is a long time though. " I said in reply.

"Other idols have been hidden longer for less." He said with a tilt of his eyebrows. "If we need to we will prolong your hiatus. " he said. I sighed and rubbed my forehead with my other hand.

"So what does that mean with my contract? My career?" I asked.
"We'll be announcing your withdrawal tomorrow. You'll still have a contract here at Cube. You are a song writer, you could be helping other idol groups here. You'll still be well payed for any choice you make. And when the time comes, you'll hopefully will come back to Korea and continue promotions just like before. We will talk about your contract again at that time. "

When I didn't reply, he continued, "This could save your life. " the man said and I nodded knowingly. I just don't want to leave for that long. "I have contacted your parents and they suggest you go back home. " he said and I nodded again.

I felt frustrated.

"Take your time to think about your choices. Call your manager in the morning. We'll give you two weeks then to set up your new life." My stomach twisted at the word new.

When we got home, Leo was silent. He ignored the fact that I knew about it without telling him. We just sat on the couch. I couldn't think.

"I don't know what to do. " I whispered. Leo placed his hand on my shoulder.
