WARNINGS: Some Violence
Klaus stared at the man wearing his nephew's dead body. The sound of angry shouting and crashing was heard downstairs. Safe to say, Elijah was at his limit, in regards to patience.
"If you're here, then where's my nephew," Klaus asked.
"Hell if I knew. I just got here," the intruder said, "Look, I don't want to be here either, alright? I just want to go home."
"What's your name," Klaus asked, "You never told me."
"Bucky," Bucky said.
The sound of crashing got closer, making Bucky tense. Elijah came in with a stake, ready to kill the intruder.
Klaus got to his feet, placing himself between Elijah and his target. Bucky also stood up, ready to make an escape.
"Elijah, not now," Klaus scolded, stopping him, "I need you to think rationally."
"That man is wearing my son's corpse," Elijah said, his vampirism pushing through, "I'm thinking as rational as I could be."
"What the hell," Bucky muttered.
"Killing him again won't work," Klaus reasoned.
"How do you know," Elijah snapped.
He was practically shaking, using every bit of self-restraint to hold back.
"We need answers. This intruder can provide information on where Elion could've gone," Klaus explained.
"But that should be my son," Elijah said, pointing at Bucky, "That should be Elion standing there... And he is gone. Milo's father is gone. Atlas's father is gone. My son is GONE!!"
Elijah hit the stake against the wall, breaking it into splinters. He breathed heavily, trying to calm down.
Klaus guided him out of the room.
"If you try to leave this room, I'll break your legs," Klaus threatened, closing the door behind him.
"Got it," Bucky muttered.
As soon as the door closed, Bucky began searching for an exit.
Klaus turned his attention back to Elijah.
"Get ahold of yourself. We have a lead in there," Klaus said.
"Keeping him alive is a liability," Elijah said, "What makes you think that he knows anything?"
"Because if this 'Bucky' is here, then Elion's spirit is likely inside of his body," Klaus reasoned.
Elijah blinked a couple times as that thought didn't cross his mind.
"Go grieve, Elijah. Do what you need to in order to get your head straight. When you're done, we'll look for Elion together," Klaus said, walking back to the room.
Bucky heard the doorknob turn and immediately sat down. Klaus entered the room and took a seat in front of Bucky once more.
"Now then, where were we," Klaus asked.
"I don't know anything. If I did, do you really think I would bother staying here," Bucky asked.
"You should probably start thinking harder. You're inside of my nephew's body, and his father is slowly becoming a ticking time bomb," Klaus said.
Bucky sighed deeply while shaking his head. Then a look of thought crossed his face, which Klaus picked up on.
"What was that?"
Bucky glanced back over to Klaus.
"What," Bucky asked.
"That look. You know something, don't you," Klaus asked, leaning forward.
"I'm not sure. It's pretty far-fetched."
Bucky blinked and Klaus was in front of him. He held his throat, his thumb digging into his windpipe.
Bucky instinctively fought to get away from him. However, hitting Klaus might as well be hitting a brick wall. Except, Bucky could actually do damage on a brick wall.
"What the hell are you," Bucky wheezed, feeling his neck crushing in his grip.
"Impatient is what I am," Klaus snapped, "Where is he?!"
"I have a theory. But it's hard to say that it's true," Bucky grimaced.
"What theory," Klaus asked, "Spit it out!"
"At least let me breathe," Bucky grunted, narrowing his eyes at Klaus stubbornly.
Klaus reluctantly let go of his throat. He sat back in his seat, waiting for Bucky to speak.
"This is gonna be an odd question, but have you ever heard of the multiverse?"
