WARNINGS: Self Mutilation
Bucky leaned against the threshold of his temporary room, listening to Klaus and Marcel bicker with each other.
"You can't just keep him locked up all day," Marcel said.
"Would you rather I gut him open and feed him to pigeons," Klaus asked.
"Klaus, all I'm saying is eventually Bucky is gonna realize he's in Elion's body," Marcel said, "And when he does, who do you think he's going after first?"
"Is it truly my safety that concerns you, or is it your secret lover," Klaus asked, "I wonder how Rebekah is handling you showing such attention to her dear nephew."
Marcel scoffed at the accusation.
"I'm trying to protect you," Marcel said, "Unfortunately, I'm sired to you, so if you die, I die."
Klaus vamped up to Marcel.
"Then you will do well to keep your mouth shut about Elion's capabilities," Klaus snapped, pushing past him.
He glanced at Bucky, stopping in front of him.
"Something you'd like to share," Klaus asked.
"No, sir," Bucky said, staring at him blankly.
Marcel stepped out of the room as Diego (one of the vampires) walked in.
"Hey, guys, we have a problem," Diego reported.
Bucky watched Diego walk past him with Marcel on his heels. Klaus glanced at the two vampires before looking at Bucky.
He thought back to Marcel's advice about keeping him locked up.
"You're coming with me, soldier," Klaus said, walking ahead of him.
Bucky pushed himself off of the wall, following behind Klaus. Maybe if made himself useful, Bucky would be able to gain more freedom until the switch.
He listened to Diego speaking as they came to a few vampires (or at least Bucky assumed they were) drained dry.
They had weird markings carved into their skin as well. Marcel examined the dead vampires for a brief moment.
"Elion number 2," Marcel said, nodding at him to follow.
Bucky glanced at Klaus while backtracking.
"Where are you going," Klaus asked, "Someone has to account for this!"
Marcel paused and turned to Klaus.
"I'm getting Bucky out of here. That mark is tied to some bad mojo. Any of y'all got any brains, you'll stay the hell out of this," Marcel said.
