Stark landed on the balcony of the Avengers tower. He got a call, stating there was a mandatory meeting.

JARVIS dismantled his Iron Man suit as he walked down the steps. Stark made his way to the conference room, immediately noticing it was more than just the regular team here.

Doctor Strange (Stephen), Peter Parker, and even Shuri were present. Stark sighed in frustration, assuming this was gonna take forever.

"Someone better be dying or dead," Stark muttered, taking his seat next to Stephen.

"Glad you could finally join us. Now that everyone is here, I have a question," Steve said, "How much do you know about the multiverse?"

The room went deathly silent. Stephen decided to speak up.

"The multiverse is a concept that not many understand. And if they do, they know not to mess with it," Stephen said.

"What if that's already happening," Steve asked.

Stephen frowned in disapproval.

"What do you mean 'already happening'? What the hell did you do," Stephen hissed.

"We didn't do anything. You all know Bucky, right," Steve asked.

"Of course, we know Bucky," Yelena said, "You literally never shut up about him."

Steve threw Yelena a glare.

"What? Am I wrong," Yelena asked, shrugging innocently.

He rolled his eyes and continued talking.

"I think someone has taken over his body," Steve said.

"Like... Activated the Winter Soldier," Shuri asked.

"No. This is different. During his time as the Winter Soldier, Bucky was still there. He was just buried deep inside of his mind," Steve explained, "Now... He's gone."

"How do you know this exactly," Natasha asked, leaning back in her chair.

"He said his name was Elion Pierce-Mikaelson. He even had a whole backstory," Steve said, "He was 100% convinced that he wasn't Bucky Barnes."

"Okay, let's say you're right. Where is the actual Bucky then," Clint asked.

"If Elion Pierce is inside of Bucky, then Bucky might be inside of this Elion person. At least, that's my theory," Steve shrugged.

"That's actually a pretty good theory," Peter said, "Like the movie Freaky Friday."

Steve gave a look of confusion.

"You've never seen Freaky Friday," Peter asked, looking a bit offended.
