Cecilia Caruso.

It had been an uneasy night, the night wasn't even over yet!

Everyone sleeping, tossing and turning, while I stayed awake and still.

I needed an escape plan but nothing seemed to connect.

I knew that we needed to leave in the middle of the night, careful not to get caught.

I also knew that we needed something, something that the little yellow house kept hidden.

Carefully I dressed, I dressed into a warm brown skirt, one pair of my pants were ripped and extremely dirty with the other pair being shorts so a skirt it was. I also wore a cream shirt and white sweater, with a black baret because it was cold. Allowing my messy hair to fall below my shoulders, curling up at the end. It was one of the only outfits I had, it would work for an impromptu escape decently. I almost never wore extra layers because I didn't want them to get dirty, but something told me that this journey would be cold and I'd need my sweater.

Then I left some warm clothes for Sebastian who was mumbling in his sleep, I wondered what he what he was dreaming about.

"Sebas." I quietly whispered, no reaction.

"Sebas." I whispered again with the same reaction.

"Sebastian." I gently shook him awake as he looked around dazed.

It took a couple of minutes for him to become conscious, and a couple more minutes of me waiting outside of the barn. The air was chilling but that was the least of my concerns.

After telling Sebas of what he needed to do, I began walking towards the yellow house. I knew he'd want to come if he found out what I was doing, thinking it of a fun experience, so I didn't tell him exactly what I planned to do.

I gently took the bobby-pin that I kept in my hair, since I always kept one, and began to quietly pick the lock, knowing that they lock their doors at night.

Once I quietly made my way inside, I avoided all of the creaky spots in the house, after cleaning it, I knew which spots were safe and which ones weren't.

Right into the office, which was the room beside Sir and Ma'am's bedroom. This was the hard spot, I knew that both were light sleepers and one wrong move would end badly.

I also knew that Sir kept a gun on his bedside table and wouldn't hesitate to shoot, the others had told me that he once killed another child after that child tried to escape, pulling the same stunt I was.

I knew that if I were to be caught and potentially killed, Sebastian would be long gone and safe, I'd make sure of that if it, even if it was the last thing I did.

Quietly I made my way to the hidden euros, where the mirror had snitched its hiding spot.

Taking the fist full of cash, counting it quickly, €185.14.

Perfect.

I quickly turned and began to step my way slowly back to the front of the house, it was going perfect.

That was until I ran straight into the corner of the desk, scraping my side incredibly hard. Everything began to become dizzy, a pain that made me want to throw up appeared.

I fell straight down, crashing into the storage cub, a fancy vase fell and broke into millions of pieces, an ashy substance spiraling out.

"Oh shit." I mumbled as I began to woozily get out of the office.

Not before both Sir and Ma'am came rushing out of the room, a gun in hand.

I'm dead.

There's no hope.
