They say that when a human dies, the brain plays that person's favorite memories for seven minutes.
I'm no scientist, so who am I to disagree with that?
I've never died, and personally I'd like to keep it that way but I do know that when I die, my seven minutes will replay this month.
The month of November, the month I reunited with my family.
Every passing day was better than the last, I even saw my sister, cold and emotionless towards the public eye, smile a genuine smile.
Every minute was filled with love and laughter, my father whom I've gotten more comfortable with, was a nice and gentle man.
My brothers loved to rough house and throw me around because I was the youngest, aside from CeCe.
My sisters loved to baby CeCe and I, even though it could get annoying, their hearts were in the right spot.
"RAHHH!" Emilio yelled as he jumped out and grabbed my waist, throwing me onto the couch.
"EMILIO!" I laughed as I was thrown into the air, like a little kid.
To them, I was. I'm only twelve, not even a teenager yet, CeCe and I were the babies of the family.
"What? Am I not allowed to throw my little brother around?" Emilio asked, pretending to be confused as he cocked his head.
"Not like a rag doll." I sighed as I adjusted my school uniform, it was our first day.
Cecilia and I hadn't been to school in a while, and now we were going to a new school in the middle of the semester.
My uniform consisted of a pair of black pants and a white button up shirt with a fancy collar, along with a black jacket with the school logo, there was also a tie.
CeCe had to wear a black skirt with knee length white socks, the same fancy white shirt, only tucked in, and a smaller jacket also with a tie and school crest.
My hair was in its signature messy-wavy curly mop, at least it looked somewhat good.
CeCe had her brown hair tied into a high pony tail with a black bow, her hair was curly-wavy and moved along with her.
"Okay, I packed your lunch. If you don't like it, I think dad put about 400 dollars on your lunch account." Romeo nervously stated as he handed us our lunchboxes.
That's the thing, 400 dollars for a lunch account was a lot. I wasn't sure if ever be used to living in this rich family.
"Thank you Romeo," I smiled as I gave him a quick hug, CeCe just stuck to a half smile, nodding her head.
It's not that she was ungrateful, she just wasn't as comfortable as I was.
We both hurried to the car, Luca already sat stretched out with the same uniform just messy. His tie was tied around his head and his blazer was undone.
The drive was pretty quiet as Luca slept in the car, despising school.
"Now that the October break is over, since it's November," Luca yawned as we neared school.
"You'll be going to a different building, it's the middle school. If you want I can walk you inside and to your classrooms." Luca shrugged.
"Will it make you late?" CeCe asked as she shifted nervously, she didn't do well socially in school.
"Nah, I'll be fine." Luca rolled his eyes with a smile, as the car stopped and the chauffeur opened the door.
"Thank you Sir!" I smiled as we got out of the car, there were many other rich private school kids with the same uniform walking towards a large brick building.
