Chapter 2: You're sweet buddy but I'm gonna have to pass

Heathrow Airport

I haven't slept at all. After yesterday my mind wouldn't allow me to and I agreed with it for once. I watched Nora sleep soundly beside me in the jet we took to London. At least I think that's where we're going judging by what I eavesdropped on what Azarea was saying to the pilot. I hadn't said a word to him since we left the house, and I could tell he was not that eager to speak to me so I would just have to try a different initiative.

"Sir we will be landing soon." The flight attendant said to Azarea who just nodded, and she left quickly. Not what I was expecting since she was basically drooling all over him since we boarded not even acknowledging me or Nora, so I guess she'd come to her senses.

He then lifted his gaze to me I didn't even notice I was still staring but I didn't look away instead I remained motionless, and he went back to his laptop screen. I looked away and put on my seat belt and shook Nora awake. "Hey, sleeping beauty wake up no prince is coming." I said and she rubbed her eyes and yawned "The fact that sleep gives me beauty is the very reason I should keep my eyes closed." She said stretching her arms out. I rolled my eyes and snatched her blanket "We're landing soon." She nodded and buckled up as I folded the blanket. "Where exactly are we landing?" Nora says as I neatly put aside the blanket. "If I'm right we'll be landing in Heathrow airport in London." I say in a whisper, so Azarea won't hear. Nora then mouths the word 'what' "How are we supposed to get back to the orphanage if we're in a different continent!" she very aggressively whispers "Ssh! I have a plan, but we need solid land to carry it out first so stop panicking." I say slapping her wrist as she exclaims in pain "Ow! Sorry if I don't exactly trust your judgment since you know we're literally on a different planet." I roll my eyes and sigh "On a different part of a planet and anyway when have I ever been wrong before?" "When I was in standard 3 you said babies were made by a secret code that adults knew on the woman keypad. That you said all girls have." I laughed "Don't laugh I went into the bathroom to check if I had one and thought I was not normal when I didn't find it. I cried the whole day." I laughed harder "I still can't believe you cried at school in front of your teacher I nearly died after seeing your face." I said continuing to laugh. She finally couldn't hold it in and joined in too.

"Attention all passengers we are landing so please fasten your seat belts and turn off all electrical equipment. Thank you." I glance over to where Azarea is seated and notice him put away his laptop but not put on his seat belt pretty ballsy if you ask me. He then looks over and smirks. What the fuck was that?

After the plane landed, I held on tightly to Nora's hand and she did so too. Azarea stood and made his way over. "What happened to the confidence you had a while ago. Not feeling too chatty anymore?" This mother- I glared at him and he chuckled I don't trust him not one bit. He's intimidating sure but there was no way I'm backing down on this one. "Let's go we have a destination to reach before it gets too late. I could tell you didn't get much sleep, did you?" "Neither did you I guess you definitely need a nap too huh?" I said staring him down. "Unlike you poppet I don't need much sleep." He turned and went out. I looked at Nora who was stuck facing down. "Are you okay? You seem off." "I- I couldn't look up at him." She raised her head to look at me. "What? What do you mean?" I said alarmed now. "It was like I couldn't lift my head like a hand was pushing it down but..." "There was no hand." Okay now I know I'm getting pranked where the cameras at cause supernatural shit was not in my life card.

We exited the plane and found him waiting by yet another Limousine. I mean sure they're rich but seriously this is starting to give off mafia vibes. As we get closer, I notice he's not alone. A woman about 5 foot 8 or 6 inches comes into view beside him. She looks like a fighter judging by the build and resting b face but not to worry I'm sure she's friendly that's what Nora would say at this moment.
