Third Person
The scene begins showing random students dancing and chatting away. Professor Oobleck is shown to be listening intently as professor Port laughs over some unheard stories. Ozpin is standing off to the side with professor Goodwitch until General Ironwood offers his hand for her to dance with him. Jaune soon approaches Ruby as lilith went to hang out with her sisters for the time being, who is standing bored and awkwardly near the food and drinks tables.

Jaune: "I see you're hiding at the punch bowl too."

Ruby: "Yep." She emphasizes the "p" with a pop.

Jaune: "To the socially awkward." He raises his glass

Ruby giggles and they both clink glasses.

Ruby: "Sorry things didn't work out with Weiss."

Jaune: "You know, it's fine. It is F/n and he's really cool. I get why she went with him."

Ruby: "You're not angry at him?"

Jaune: He shakes his head. "No actually. I don't really know much about their past but there's clearly something special between them." He drinks from his glass.

Ruby: "Yeah you're right about that, just look at them."

Jaune: Turning to Ruby. "Huh?" He then looks towards Weiss.

Weiss is shown trying desperately to coax life out of a wilting white rose. When she fails, she looks visibly upset but F/n appears next to her and revitalises the rose with his aura and then puts a purple rose in the vase which makes it look like the white rose is full of life with both roses leaning against each other. Weiss looks at the roses then back at F/n and Weiss gains a huge smile with F/n having a genuine loving smile.

Ruby: "She was so excited when she return to our room it was... kinda weird to see actually"

F/n looks towards Jaune and bows his head slightly and mouths "I'm sorry" to him but Jaune shakes his head as to say not to worry and chuckles.

Jaune finishes his glass and as he sets the glass down he notices Pyrrha walk glumly up the stairs and towards the balcony. Concerned he decides to follow after her.

The scene shifts to Pyrrha on a balcony as Jaune approaches behind her.

Jaune: He stops right behind. "Hey, Pyrrha."

Pyrrha turns around to face him.

Pyrrha: "Hello, Jaune."

Jaune: "You okay? I haven't seen you tonight."

Pyrrha: Turning back to the balcony. "Arrived late, I'm afraid."

Jaune: "Well, you look really nice."

Pyrrha: Raising her hand near her mouth. "Thank you." Her hand falls away.

Jaune: Nervously tipping on his toes. "Your, uh, date isn't going to beat me up for saying that, is he?"

Pyrrha: "I think you're safe for tonight."

Jaune: Rubbing his hands. "So, where is the guy?"

Pyrrha turns back toward Jaune.
