We don't fear the dark,
we fear what it holds.

We don't fear the people,
we fear getting hurt.

We don't fear the height,
we fear the fall.

We don't fear the water,
we fear its depth.

We don't fear the fire,
we fear the heat.

We don't fear the challenge,
we fear the failure.

We don't fear death,
we fear the grief.

And we surely aren't afraid of the future,
we only fear what the future will bring.
