Emberwing flinched at the sight of this many birds. A truce lasted for the night where each flock would share anything going on in their flock. The last multi-flock conference was held when Emberwing had just been rescued by Auraflare–Obsidianwing suspiciously narrowing her eyes at him at any sight as if Emberwing were secretly a spy. He only felt at home whenever he was around his sister or his mentor. The flock and all others untrusting but due to the truce, he was safe.
He heard a distant voice canceling his thoughts from his left. It was a crowd of birds which Emberwing thought was Ravenflock, led by Ravenplume, one of the four flocks that all hunted prey in the forest. It spoke; "Moonflock is here, we can all attend to this! In a lazy and growling tune, probably coming from one of the elders.

He then heard a voice coming from his flock,
"That ain't Ravenplume! Who's sitting in the leader's chair!?" But no answer came. Instead, another voice coming from Ravenflock spoke in a reply to their flock-mate; "Alright, Fireflock; would you like to go first?" He couldn't tell Fireflock from Diamondflock but that changed when the leader of Fireflock, Fireflight spoke.
"Our flock is running well. Prey is plentiful and our nests because our chicks are soon to be trainees. All I have to say, much. Diamondflock, would you care to go?" In an instant gap between those words came Diamondflocks lieutenant, Blueblaze;
"Our prey is running very well but we have a small sickness in camp so our leader isn't here but he is getting treated right now so our clan is strong." Diamondrain indeed wasn't there. Normally a bird would be there even if they had a sickness, unless it was life threatening or contagious. Thought Emberwing. Right before he could speak, he heard another voice, almost reading his mind,
"If he wasn't terribly sick he would be here! You just revealed your weakness! What type of lieutenant would give away that information! If he is gonna die at least Rubyshimmer will take over and not you!" Emberwing heard loud gasps coming from every flock, which looked angrily at the Fireflock guard.
"Guys, guys! Everyone calm down! Let's let Moonflock go next! Lets hope they have good news for us because its been good so far ever since Moonfeather returned!"
Obsidianwing sat up straight and cleared her throat to talk. "Prey is well, everything is going great, Emberchick and Obsidianchick became Emberwing and Obsidianwing, Emberwing is now being trained by Auraflare and Obsidianwing is being trained by Swiftshadow. All the flocks started chanting their names; "Emberwing! Obsidianwing! Emberwing! Obsidianwing!"
"Ravenflock, would you-" The voice was cut off as the leader of Ravenflock spoke.
"I'm Skullstalker. This flock isn't Ravenflock anymore, it's Skullflock!"
"How did he die?"
"What happened?"
"Where is the rest of your flock?"
Emberwing realized that Skullflock was abnormally smaller than Ravenflock, or any other Flock he'd seen.
"Enough with the questions, I'm not explaining anything!" Skullstalker growled. "The conference is at an end."
Emberwing lay with his mouth gaped open in awe of how this multi-flock conference went.
Thunderclaw laid his wing on Emberwing. "Don't worry. This happens often. I've been old enough to experience many of these. Some go like this, some go even crazier." Thunderclaw prodded Emberwing with his wing one last time and flew away.
"Well that's... A way to end off this conference...?" His sister, Obsidianwing mumbled. "I don't remember it being like this. Anyway, Emberwing, wanna come training with me? I was hoping you could come because Auraflare said yes and your injury is getting better," as all the birds were walking off. Emberwing could still feel stiffness in his wing, but he was still able to move it.
"Sure," he replied softly, still unsure, he looked away.
"Yes!" Obsidianwing exclaimed, before rushing off. "Race ya' to that tree!" She took off and glided toward the tree while Emberwing remained grounded. Skullstalker...? Why does that sound so menacing? And why did he not answer any questions...? What happened to his father?
